Wow, this amazing! I do not think it is cartoon-ish either. I love the lightning! And the atmosphere, as mentioned earlier, does help the whole image come together. Very well done! (We have got to get some clapping smilies on this forum. )

I think you have captured just the right colour tone combination across the whole piece that makes the lightning really work.I love the fading mountains. Brilliant!

Mountains looking really good. It is a great detail to have the fog lying down in the wally. It gives the impression of depth. Sky is just perfect. Only nit pit is i would have liked a bit of patterns on the mountains. They still look a bit two dimensional.

The latest piece are stunnings, except the mountain and lightning bolt, which I'll get to in a minute.
I see some dents and frost glass being used in the nebula as well as smudging and painting. It looks like an explosion is happening and capture just at the right moment.
The mountain and lightning is a good study in contrast. Dark and red strike as a dark, terrifying place, and the lightning bolt is bright and blue. If I had to guess how you did the lightning bolt, I'm going to say a little bit of S3D and sine wave.

@ barbieq25, Thank you very much, Actually it is easy to achieve it if you practice on the Smudge plugin. I was trying to write a tutorial for it, but couldn't explain it well, so I made two short videos on how to do that, "who has a shaky hand will get a better result, " Video-1, Dots effectVedio-2, regular lighting effect@ afg, you right I noticed that solid blue on a different screen, I think it needs to reduce the opacity a little bit, thank you for your comment mate . @ heat stroke, thanks you very much . @ Goonfella, ;D wow 11/10 thanks, well the lightning image is a quick work just to make a background for it, thank you for your comment, and don't be sorry about commenting earlier. @ chrisco97, haha I like that, clapping smilies, appreciate your nice words and thank you very much. @ Dug, thank you very much, I am so glad you liked it. @ Leif, thank you for your comment, well the mountains are just a Lasso tool on a few layers, filled them with black then tinted them, you are right, there is no any details on them, was just a quick simple background. @ LanceII, thank you for your comment, yes I used all those effects you've mentioned and a lot more, most of the blur effects have used and different Blending modes on layers, but Dents really used heavily on this. And about the lightning, well it is really all a freehand work and the smudge plugin, BTW the new version of the smudge has a background feature, so you can do the smudging on a transparent layer after adding your image as a background to have more control on the work you doing.

@ Shotage ... even more strokable than the previous image. Again, I absolutely love those colours. Lightning Bolt ... what an awesome, angry sky. That looks great. This reminds me of all the times I've been in a forestry high above a storm marvelling at the power of the scene below me. The 2D' ness of the mountains just adds to the real power of the scene. Awesome mate

I mirror everyone else's comments on these two pieces. Explosion just 'pops' out and leaves the imagination to work on what's happening up there The lightening is electric (no pun intended) and is so skilfully placed. Great work

Lightning Bolt is great, the colour makes the sky look ominous.

I hope it's okay to comment here 2 months later than the last.
I've learned so much here on your gallery as well as enjoying the stunning art work. I copied the photo example of perspective into my tutorial folder for reference, and downloaded the script lab for when I figure out where to put it.LOL I also had to force myself to not go download any 3D programs until I learn this one a bit more!
It's really interesting to see how implementing other people's suggestions can make a fantastic piece of art even better. I think my favorite piece is virus attack. The one in more vibrant colors seems to suggest a more menacing feeling to me. The other seems more dreamy and therefore less threatening? Having been suffering from a virus for over 2 years now, it hits me in the gut with feeling.
Thanks so much for sharing and hopefully now that I've seen you are back here, we will be seeing more of your awesome work.

I like the look of the first ones but because I think about how to clean anything that I buy (bad I know but that is why my hatch doesn't have a spoiler besides already having a bit of a duck tail, it looks like overkill). So while I like the pattern of the first one I'd buy the second ones for my car.
Both of them are really well done & the background/reflection are perfect for it. Well done!

Wow. So shiny! If only I had those for my car. Very realistic-looking, too.
Sorry I haven't commented on your Lightning Bolt image. I was taken aback by it. As always, a pleasure to see your work.

It's good to see you are posting your works again. I think I see Trial 3D, S3D, and some typical gradient.
