Your kitty looks like the one I used to have. She was named, "Killy" by a previous owner. She was a killer, for sure. Such cute pets!

When I took that picture the cat was fairly new to us. The dog was 10 or 11 when the cat came in and took over the house, and at first they stayed as far away from each other as they could. Now they play together, in their way. Mostly the dog chasing the cat and the cat threatening to hit the dog. It's like a circus sometimes. Now when I log in to PB I get a message that says my account is in maintenance. How hard can this be? I guess I could start a new account, but then I'd have to upload everything again, and change all the links. I'll hang in until they fix the problem. I haven't done anything much worth posting anyway, and if I do there's my other account or Imageshack. Thanks everyone for dropping in.

He, he. I can imagine they have there small games going. Cats usually only do what they want to do them selfs.

I always love looking at kaleidoscope/ droste work , it never fails to take me back to growing up in the 60's and 70's when life was so much more colourful

Yeah, I'm glad Photobucket got it sorted out. Thanks afg! That's what it reminds me of too. I have some that are really colourful, but I need sunglasses to look at them.

Thanks evil guy! Good to see you here. I haven't been doing much new work lately, but I have my polymer clay stuff set up again. Plus, hubby is home for a few weeks and there are too many distractions for me to really concentrate on anything.

That's interesting BP, do you have some photos of what you have created with polymer clay? I see sometimes very nice flowers been done with it. BTW, is this material safe for kids, I want to buy some as a gift for my nieces, because I know they like to play with things like these, and never seen them using it before.

Welshy, yes it is therapeutic. Playing with Sculptris got me wanting to play with real clay again. I think of it as a grown up version of Plasticine, which was my favourite toy when I was a kid. Sargon, it is safe for kids. The brand I like is Sculpey, and their website www.sculpey.com/ has a section for kids' projects. I don't have a lot of pictures, just this necklace. It's supposed to look like amber and ivory. My husband took some pics of other jewelry I made and was trying to sell online, but he's away for the weekend and I don't know if they're still on his computer, and have no idea where they would be if they are.

Thanks barbieq! It was fun to do. If I get more pictures I'll do a gallery in Beyond Paint.Net. Maybe next week when hubby starts the new job I can do more artistic things. Yesterday we had the dog at the vet's getting her teeth cleaned and having a fatty lump removed from her abdomen. So for the next few days we're keeping her from licking her stitches and carrying her if we're going up and down the stairs. We have a cone for when we can't watch her, and the cat is really weirded out about it. *LOL* It's like she thinks the dog is a mutant space alien or something. Pets are so entertaining!

I can SO visualize the scene with the doggie and the kitty Do hope she gets better soon My blind kitty has just now gone deaf and it's so sad to see him struggling around. Obviously his hearing was instrumental in helping him get about, now the hearing has gone too, he seems to be bumping into everything. He still likes his food, and cuddling with his girlfriend, so guess he will manage

Awww, poor kitty! My dog has been deaf for a few years, and she's been okay. It can be a challenge, because we can't call her to come back when she wanders, so we have to keep a close eye on her. Animals adapt pretty well though, a lot better than we do I think. And if I had just had surgery, I would not be nearly as perky as she is.

BP and Pixey, my wife once had a sweet, sweet dog named Babe (no relation to the movie of the same name) who was deaf and going blind. I loved that dog cuz she knew when I was down, she'd put her head on my lap, and give me that doe eyes. Miss that dog very much, and my wife is still a little sensitive about her. She passed away a few years ago... Better stop talking or there'll be Kleenex being handed out.

A few weeks ago, I had to put down one of my ratty babies. So sad but I knew they only lived a short time. It was the second one I got & we were not as close as the first or the third one.
I'd rather have loved & lost then never have had them at all. Guess that is the way it goes with pets.

It's sad to lose a pet, but that is the way it goes. I keep saying after this dog is gone I don't want to get another one, but we probably will. And we'll still have the cat. It's just that I end up doing all the icky pet jobs, and sometimes they can be really icky because I leave them too long. Doggie got her stitches out yesterday, and she should be able to go without a cone now. The lump was sent for biopsy and it's all fat, as expected, but we wanted to be sure. So everything is good now.

Good to her your doggie is well again. I get to do the icky jobs too...I know what you mean. At the moment my 2 are in the dog house. How many times do I have to fill in the same darned hole?! They busted through the barricade. For some reason concrete keeps popping in my head

Fantastic news about the biopsy Animals can be such wonderful companions and it is absolutely devastating to lose one. I've been through a few in my time and always said ..... no more, but that didn't last long. My husband's philosophy, when I'm crying, down and depressed, after having to put one down, is that I gave them a lot of love and happiness whilst they were here on this earth. Thought of in that way, then it's worth it

Some new additions on page 1. That's "new" as in recently uploaded, not necessarily newly completed. Thought I should add something so it at least looks like I've been doing something.
