I too am experiencing a bit of trouble .... But, it may be something I'm doing. I use both Firefox and Chrome for various sites and PDN Fans only seems to like Chrome ..... won't let me in on Firefox and asks me to type-in all sorts of messages, and then ignores me. Perhaps one can't view the site with two browsers?

@wb Yesterday they were having some serious issues with their servers overall before they became simply unavailable for a time. I haven't checked back yet to see if they posted what/when etc they came back or if there will be further issues.
Suffice to say, compose offline or at least copy to offline to ensure you dont lose stuff when possible.

Perhaps one can't view the site with two browsers? Well I use FF and for the most part it has been fine , apart from the occasional slow down and sometimes the posting problem but not often though. Same with Chrome when I had that browser. Didn`t really take to Chrome though so uninstalled it. You should be able to view the site with any browser, and both at the same time if you want. What sort of questions are you asked anyway Pixey?

PDN Fans will only let me in on Chrome. If I try to get in with Firefox I keep getting mssgs like this and I go around in circles ... it totally ignores me and just comes up with another stream of letters: EDIT: OK - I think I've found the problem PDN Fans has, for some reason, got my p/w all in uppercase Now I've tried that I can get in with Firefox ....... ;D

I use Firefox and haven't had any problems at all. Maybe the occasional day it takes a long time to load. lately my library site has been really slow, but here I have no complaints.

From the Home tab, go to the Gallerium thread: pdnfans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=galleriesOn the right-hand side up near the top you will see a little folder with a plus sign that says "New Thread". Start a new thread & name it what you'd like for your gallery. Each time you would like to add new images, click on "modify" & add the image(s) & you can update the subject line too. If you then make a comment on the very last page, it will show up as a new post. I like to put my new ones in a post at the end too so that people don't have to go back to page 1 to see the work & then back again to comment but I like then all to be in the same place too so that people can compare or view the works as a gallery. If that makes sense. On Photobucket you have the option of thumbnails which is what I like to use because some of my images are huge. There is a thread on how to do this somewhere but I cannot find it. Hopefully someone else may know but I hope this will give you a start.

There is a thread for Basic ImageShack linking, and at the end there's a link to a PhotoBucket tutorial. However when I click on the link it says an error has occurred and the thread doesn't exist.

blackpenny, my art is on Photobucket, and I have been having a difficult time figuring out how to get my avatar to show up in this forum. Turned out that clicking on the image link in Photobucket copies it with the image indicators. When I pasted the link to my profile a second set of image indicators was added, and the avatar image was rejected. I could see the duplicate image indicators when I was posting in a thread, but not when adding my avatar. Perhaps the link you were unable to access referred to this duplication. I hope this info helps.

Yeah, well that really sux! Mindshift, there is a tute on how to use avie & sigs: pdnfans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=announcements&action=display&thread=10Hope this helps. These are some of the codes that you may need...Delpart also pointed out that if you untick the "link back to my albums" option it will take you straight to the image. Next thing you need to do is change the privacy settings so that you do not blow the bandwidth & you have to wait a whole month before any of your images show up again. Very annoying, believe me. That is about the gist of what was missing from the thread that seems to have been gobbled by the gremlins. Please do ask again if you need more help.

Hmmm, I cant see a link called modify, all I see when I click "new thread" is something like you would have when adding a normal post on here

That is correct since you do not have a gallery here yet. The modify is to add something new to your gallery.

Thanks all, but now I can't find the right link in photobucket or how to upload a picture here. It just writes the url link into a message pane.

Yep, that is correct. One of the things I don't like with this board is that it is hard to get a preview. So if you don't like the placement or find a spelling/typo, you have to modify the original post.
I use IMG Thumb for my images, if that is any help. One of the pictures above shows you how to make sure you get the right codes. IF you want to post a full size image like the ones above, use IMG Code.
