Goonie, these are fantastic! They look like photos they are so real. I like the mountain one with the clouds partly obscuring the lake.

Thanks Barbie. TG2 is a pretty impressive piece of kit. Some of the images people create are incredible. I`ve a long way to go before mine are half as good.

Amazing picture Goonie, I remember 2 of them you have used them before, and were so nice. They are all bird's eye view, do you have some ant's eye ones? I like that view because I feel that I am part of the event. Great work mate, they need a lot of patience to create.

I`m glad everyone seems to like them. It will spur me on to produce some more. Chris , looks I`m going have to do better. The next one I want you definitely to lose your lunch! ;D Thanks Welshy . J.D. I would prefer to be flying a glider. Just the sound of the wind and the swooosh of the wings. Lovely. Sargon at the moment they are all birds eye views .I just love looking across into the distance over all those mountains. I`ll have to come down to Earth for my next one. Thanks Blackpenny

Love that mate.
Reminds me a lot of a mountain lake we go to for picnics in the summer.
You've inspired me to download Terragen again (about the 5th time ;D)

Anything else I can inspire you to do ? I seem to be doing a lot of that recently ;D ;D
Make sure you get TG2 though and not the Classic. You get better results with TG2. The only downside with the free version is the restriction on size (800x600) and a few of the render settings.

Isn't there a setting where you can increase the amount of triangle in your render? That will make your image more realistic, but the drawback is longer render time. It's the same thing in Kerkythea. I seldom use a sphere to light up my scene but a rectangle or square. I don't think it's triangle, but there's something that increases the mesh and make it look more photorealistic than a digital rendering.

I just spilled my drink all over me... Great work Goonie! It is marvelous. So realistic!
Do you use the free edition of Terragen? I downloaded the free version, and I tried to follow some tutorials and my results were terrible. Could you possibly send me some tips?
