Nice work on the green man. A bit of bark here and there and he would be quite scary! No fun for me with Sculptris anymore. It keeps crashing even when I`m doing the simplest of things. So I looked on the forum and it would appear that there are compatibility problems with the ATI4600 series of graphics cards - and I have an ATI4670 . Typical! I have checked my drivers and they are up to date so there`s not much I can do really. I guess it is still only an Alpha release so there are bound to be bugs.Just wish it wasn`t bugging me!

Nice work Heat! I agree - some bark would make him scary! That is typical, isn't it? Happens to me all of the time.

Thanks Goonfella! So sorry you cant use it anymore, but like you say, it is an alpha release. I hope you can use it in the future!
Thanks Chrisco and Blackpenny!
I plan on adding more to this steadily. Working on the background right now.

Sorry for the DP. I thought I would share something I made in my Motion Graphic Design course. Its my first animation in flash. LinkNo sound on this one. My professor wanted us to start out easy. We just had to create an animation that illustrated the difference in two opposite words. I chose "short" and "tall".

I really like this. I think you have conveyed the difference very well. Choosing those two colours keeps it simple but classy. Well done! Your professor should give you a good mark for this.

He, he. Nice work. Makes it kind of surprising how the dimensions of the picture seams to change all the time.

That is really cool! Good use of classic colours.
I was with some calligraphy friends this morning, so I really appreciate the text effect.

I remember myself downloading the Trial version of Flash and I quit. I really needed time to think and practice with it, but I never had a chance.
You did a wonderful job with it. I remember the frames' windows and things like that...my head was spinning and I knew it was time to go to Control Panel--Uninstall Programs-->Adobe Flash. And that's what I did--haven't looked at the program since.

Thanks every one! I actually got a perfect grade on it, so i am happy! I really like playing with perspective, its fun and it gives everything a sense of realism. Helen, it was really hard for me as well at first. We had a full day to just tinker around and look at a website with tutorials (lynda.com) Very helpful. Dug, Its mainly beginner's luck with me. I can usually grasp a program at an intermediate level at first, then never get any further for a long time. Its just a matter of sticking with it, no matter what, and i have motivation because I need to pass this course! I just finished another project, just waiting for my professor to upload it that way i can post the link here... Thanks again!

Sorry for the DP My professor has posted my two last projects. This project was meant to help us introduce audio with our animations. We could pick songs or dialogue from... anything. It was really open ended, which helped a lot! I chose Clark's (Chevy Chase) rant from the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Some bad language though, just to let you know. I got a perfect score on this one! This project was my final project of the class, and it was to design the beginning movie titles for a movie. We could not over-hall them, we had to design new titles from scratch. I chose Tron Legacy because it really doesnt have beginning titles. That made making an original idea a little easier. I dont know what my score is on this one yet. I also dont know if I passed yet, but since I got two perfect scores, I should pass no matter what, I think...

Man, that is some impressive flash animation, HS. Far better than I would ever have mastered when I was taking a course in Flash in college. I guess I rushed through the whole thing rather than taking the time to learn it.
At least I still have the old copy of it around, I hope...

Thank you Possum! I thought I would post a little doodle I did in photoshop in this gallery for some CC. This was my first attempt to paint with the brush tool.

WEll, I like that! A lot, I might add. It is really good the way the tiny little ball is beside the huge one & the little tiny ball inside one of the craters. A wonderful texture to all of it. Well done!

Very nice work with the craters and putting the correct shadows in there. Love the texture and the little one on the ground.
