Three days well spend. You are right to be proud of this. The small amount of noise makes the metal look real; and the shading enhances the impression of real metal.

Really good outcome Chris. Well done. I actually prefer your chrome metalwork to the tuts. It seems shinier and a bit more realistic. I do think the reflection could have been gradually faded out though . Overall an excellent result.

I agree with Goonie & Leif. WOW! What a great job you've done! Love the wood texture too. Super smooth.

Yep, that is a great job. Love the shininess of the lens. That's pretty high standard polished metal. Personally the line through the wood and the coffee ring detract from it in my humble opinion. That's just my thoughts, not wanting to take anything from the awesome work of the metal (but I wouldn't be me if I didn't say it )

lol, anybody else notice I put 2010 as the date on the copyright? I will update that with a better reflection. Thanks for the comments WelshBlue!

v2 of the Camera has been posted. I fixed the copyright date, and fixed the reflection as Goonfella mentioned.

Thats better Chris. I agree with Welshy about the line in the wood though. And you are unlikely to have a coffee ring on your camera! ( unless you are very careless where you put it! ;D) Apart from this - great image! (of course now the challenge is to see if you can do it in PDN as well. )

I want my money back on my glasses I didn't really register the coffee ring but didn't mind the line. Welshy & Goonie are right about it though. Didn't notice the copyright either since I was too blinded by the gloss & shine with the lens & metal. Looks stacks better with the reduced reflection. Much more realistic!

Wow. This is so realistic. I love this piece because it was done by a fellow PDNner (even though it was done in Photoshop). You have such a talent!

The camera looks really good. I like the coffee ring - makes people wonder. The space scape is beautiful too.

Looks dark and catastrophic. A bit scary, but also impressive as artwork.
