It doesn't need to be elaborate to be beautiful, Goonie. I love the 3D letters & the colours. Just gorgeous.

Great entries!
I have something, but I'm going to sit on it for a while until I'm absolutely sure I like it.

Great entries! I have something, but I'm going to sit on it for a while until I'm absolutely sure I like it. If you want to post it as a WIP, you can & we will try to help you. Yes, I know it is a comp but the aim here is to have fun & learn. Unlike some comps, you are able to post a WIP or even a completed one, get feedback & change it according to feedback up to the deadline. Lance, very cool! Such pretty colours. I thought Chrisco's process would work great & you have used an eclectic approach that has worked a treat.

All the entries are superb. I'm pretty sure oma will have trouble choosing her favorite. Wow.

Well, I like my entry enough to post it. I had to not look at it for a while, because my mind was so cluttered with all the different ideas I had.

Well, I like my entry enough to post it. I had to not look at it for a while, because my mind was so cluttered with all the different ideas I had. That is a good plan. Once you leave something for a while & then when you come back to it, things make more sense & you can see errors or things that need to be changed. Used that system in my studies too. Very, very good outcome. I am pleased I extended the deadline.

Thanks Helen and barbieq! I enjoyed doing this.
In just about everything I've done, it helps to step back and look at it later with fresh eyes. Sometimes you've been looking at something so much you can't really see it anymore.

I am so glad that I am not Oma; the choice will be a difficult one at best. Thus far the entries are all very different and very appealing. Maybe Oma can choose them all and package them up as an animated gif?

I'll email all the entries after the voting to Oma. What a great idea Ventor!

That is a nice idea Ventor. Maybe something for Oma to look into.

Blackpenny's image is not showing up.
I've set up the poll but cannot get images up. Chrisco, need your help here - or anyone else that knows how.
Poll will stay up until after Easter. Please choose 1 image.
Thank you all those who sent in an entry.
