Blue dreams is also stunning! The shiny head is so cool!

InnerMind is beautiful! I love the richness of the colours, gloss & the depth. It has such substance & presence!
BlueDreams - I saw, I said one single word! & again! The blueness in the black draws me in. The deep shadow on the right eye makes me look closer & closer, the swirls make me wander through the image next, but I am drawn back to the face. I am fascinated by the glassiness but at the same time it is dark & moody (insert "in love" smiley!).
A most fantastic image! The way the light plays with the shadows is brilliant.
I should mention too that I find the face very attractive. It isn't pretty boy or typical handsomeness but there is a mesmerizing attractiveness there.
Welshy, the last two are stunning to say the least. I like too how you have combined the images. I love the way you work!

Wow! And just wow! I was shocked with both the abstracts. It all looks so poppy-outie (3D). The head, oh, how in the world did you do that? Very nice!

Brilliant! BlueDreams with the face is just brilliant! I just love this one. Took my breath away . Really well done Welshy. I think you`ve done a great job with InnerMind as well. The middle really looks like a glass eye. Two fab images.

I like the texture in Mind's Eye, and the glassy look in Inner Mind. Blue Dreams is surrealistic and mesmerizing.
Great work!

Can't really say anything great than what everybody else said. The blue is awesome! And the "Mind Eye" is something that you would see in a movie poster. For some reason, it reminds me of the opening animation of James Bond movies.

Wow ... too many people to reply to individually after an hour looking and typing at new works Many thanks to those who commented on Blue Dreams and InnerMind or Faved on dA etc etc. It's always very much appreciated to get the feed-back. I may not always reply to things, but it's all noted. -------------------------------- Small update on Pg 1. A couple finished others possible WIPs 1. My 1st take on barbieQ's panel tut. 2. Slippery Slope ... inspired by barbieQ's use of the Droste plug-in. Title inspired by Enid Blyton's Magic Faraway Tree Possible WIP 3. Fossil ... inspired by two of above. This is a WIP 4. Tainted Love ... I initially started making this for Possum's Valentine competition. Then my head went off on a tangent when I started thinking at how much of a rip-off, that day is. It was designed to sell cards, flowers and teddy bears. Not that I'm an old cynic or anything Hopefully my wife knows I love and appreciate her 365/ 364 days of the year (even if I haven't always deserved her) 5. Bad Day ... another WIP of PDN and Sculptris

I love the take on the panels tute! Slippery slope is adorable. It is so textury...for the want of a better word. So smooth! Fossil looks great even as it is. Keen to see where this will take you. Tainted love is fabulous! I have a work that I think is finished, inspired by this one. Bad Day is looking good. Again I have to wonder what direction you will take. It is exciting so see you post WIPs.
All of these are so well done!

Many thanks for taking a look and making time to comment BarbieQ', Oma, B'Penny and Chrisco' Not sure where the Wip's are headed yet ... if anywhere. If nowhere @ least I had fun making them. It's finding the right texture I need to use with Droste that is freaking frustrating to finish Fossil off

My biggest gripe with droste is how rough the edges are when the plug-in is run. Have you been able to overcome it? I remember Goonfella saying something once about using smudge to smooth the edge. Man, all of your abstract just leave me like this ->

I'd like to know that too. I downloaded the Droste plugin not to long ago, and don't know what to do with it.

My biggest gripe with droste is how rough the edges are when the plug-in is run. Have you been able to overcome it? I remember Goonfella saying something once about using smudge to smooth the edge. Goon's got more patience than me. I find the glossier the starting texture, the smoother the finish. Thanks Lance, Heat' and Helen for the comments. --------------------------------------- Update on page 1: The Rainbow Girls Electric Blue - Isn't She - Hot Stuff - Green Goddess Any dA users think they're all worth posting on there ?

I work on a large canvas but it does get rough around the edge. Depends on what you do with the finish. I cut a lot either Alpha mask or blur after the cut. I prefer True Blur.
Definitely post them on dA. I found one but not the others. I love the effect you got with these. Each one different but all so glassy!
