Three great works mate but for me the stand out factor comes from your ability to produce three eye catching works in completely different styles

Many thanks to all above this and below my previous post ;D AFG my man. A real pleasant surprise to see you. Also for those kind words. I strive whenever I can to make things different ... but to still put a lot of me into my work. As Lance pointed out Weakest Link is a parallel of my life. A big update on Page 1. Some more intricate than others. Some just random doodling with plug-ins I've never used before such as Texturise (the mappish sort of image) Candy Stripe ... the sweetness and darkness of life STRAASABAW (see main board for full title) ... how the 'race' card is so easily played these days. when all we really need are thicker skins and senses of humour with the ability to laugh at ourselves Wired ... medicationally induced Coloured Lines ... the mother of STRAASABAW Genetic Engineering ... Incendia 1.5 and PDN Box of Tricks ... speaks for itself ? Hope you's enjoy ...

Oh Ahs enjoy alright Welshy! ;D Brilliant selection . Coloured Lines is so smooth and flowing - as they all are. But I really like Genetic Engineering. That metal texture is perfect. I think you`ve got a great basis for a space station there. Really well done mate.

I think the rainbow colored lines are stunning. I have often toyed with the idea of making something that beautiful, and knowing you, this is really different. I like it!
I also like the other ones as well. You mentioned race card...that is so common and a cop out.

All so gorgeous! I like the wooden box one because it includes a lot of your work in just one image. You do such nice work!

Genetic Engineering is so lovely. I adore the metal textures. I've said it before but I'll say it again - it looks like it really is made of nuts & bolts, cogs & other metal bits & I have a hard time explaining this to my brain ;D
Box of Tricks is a great piece. I wish I had a box like that.
Candystripe is candy for the eye.
STRAASABAW is fabulous. I like the symbolism very much. Well done!
Wired has a few jaggies in the centre but not enough to detract from the feel. A good representation of how medication can make you feel.
Coloured Lines is my favourite because it is such a colourful image with a glassy feel. I love coloured glass with a passion. I collect it. We have to get a new cabinet to hold it all. I love the way the lines move with such gentleness & the overlay. Just adorable!
Texturise makes me think of an ancient Celtic city from a bird's eye view. Very cool.
Each image is different & evokes a different emotion. I am so happy to see these new works from you. Well done!

All of these are awesome! But for some reason, I love the last one the most. I love the textures in it. On Box of Tricks, I think the knob is off perspective? Am I alone on this?

Love Coloured Lines, adding the texture to it gives it a great lift, the Incendia work is fantastic and as Goonfella said there is a space station in there. The Texture work gets the imagination going with all the different uses it could be put to, the green makes a wonderful grass/rough ground texture and the metallic look of the other could used for Jewelery, Armour, but for some reason it makes me think Sci-Fi. Box of Tricks shows the old wood texture skill to perfection, agree with chrisco about the handle it needs a slight adjustment.

Too many great comments to have the time tonight to reply to you all individually ... but it is truly appreciated most of you's took the time. Hopefully things have calmed down a bit here and I can be a bit more of a regular on Fans again. Some of you have seen Nothingness ... TheFactory is the next evolution of it. (scaled down version because of PB ) The plan is to make it into a full blown factory setting - roof and walls so any suggestions as to the perspective should look greatly appreciated *** BTW ... BarbieQ's Nautilus inspired me for this series

I don't know, but each time you come up with such great pieces. I don't understand how you can compose such art. The textures, oh my gosh, purely fantastic.

As mentioned on the main board, it is a fabulous image & I like how you recycled & re-used so many very different images. A most fantastic image that is so full of atmosphere. It makes me hold my breath because I am waiting for something to come out of the doors at any moment. I feel like an intruder.
I was very happy to work on the Nautilus with you because on my own I could not have done it. So glad that I have inspired you because so foten you have done the same for me. ;D

Welsh mate that really is a work of art..superb, having just attended the Graduate art show at Uni where a lot of them plan to go into the gaming industry creating the background scenery etc I can honestly say that your latest work would fit in there no problem. On the question of creating the entire factory scene , I would suggest first making a perspective grid to work with, they are easy to make and are invaluable when it comes to projects like that

Stunning metal textures! Incredible detail and depth. A couple of masterpieces for sure . I do think the blue barrel by the door in the Workshop would look even better if you made the bottom sit on the floor more. It doesn`t seem to sit properly . Maybe if the bottom edge was erased to make it look like it was on the floor behind that ridge instead of on top of it. Really well done with these Welshy.

What a piece of art, this so excellent Welshy, woow love all those details, textures and especially the erosion on the foot of the wall, I understood Goonfella about the blue barrel, I thought it is a step a little higher than the floor, then realized it is as he mentioned, my idea on that point is to drag the rear barrel a little to the right to make part of it hidden behind the front one, and make it a little smaller to eliminate the confusion of the depth, just thought mate, it is really great.
