I love it! I was going to say if you buy it, I'll eat it but it would be a shame with this beauty.

Is candy floss the same thing as cotton candy? I just sat amazed looking at the amazing flower. I don't think I'd eat it for a while. I'd marvel over it.

That is just too cool! I'd rather look at it than eat it.

I love it too, but I would eat so much I'd make myself sick. If it's pretty like this I'll leave it alone.

Had to feel sorry for the poor little guy but I laughed when the boxes all collapsed. Funny

I can't believe how relaxed the cat is in water. Mine would've run away a long time ago. By the way, this video kind of reminds me of my driving skills... lol The guy in the end says, "I didn't want her to do that. Let's go help her." I'm glad they did. HERE

My parking skills are not great either. I really felt for the woman. I am glad that she got some help in the end. While I was there I saw this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Yu1Aq7rAGQThere have been many times I've felt like this

Good. The woman with the convertible deserved it. Reminds me of an incident a few days ago when we were going to park into a parking space and a woman drove in before we did (even though we were closer to it and saw it first ). She was laughing like a maniac.

There are some nasty people in this world Helen. I showed my students the clip too. We all had a good laugh. Our dog Ziggy got speyed a few days ago during the last week of my holidays. Hubby wanted me to keep an eye on her. So we do what girls do - played dress ups. She just loves it!

She's a darling. She doesn't seem to mind one bit since she folded her paw like that. I hope she'll heal quickly.
By the way, when we spayed Lassie and she had her stitches, the vets told us to not let her jump, but she was a pup, you know, and no matter what we told her, she kept jumping and playing. She healed very quickly, surprisingly.
How young is Ziggy? She looks like a bright girl.

She love to play dress ups. She will be 4 in March, so she is not a pup but I am sure she has ADHD! She wan't supposed to jump, go up the steps & a lot of other stuff either but unless she is drugged, nothing was going to stop her. She gave me the "How could you do this to me?! I feel so sick." look for about a day & then she was all good again. All stitches are internal & she has really well & fast like yours Helen.

Adorable! My dog wouldn't have stayed still long enough to dress up. We did sometimes put a sweater on her when it was cold, but only if we were going outside.
And I'm pretty sure the cat would not be impressed at all!

Golleeeee - it's been too long since I was on here, I almost forgot how to log in. Anyway - wishing everyone a great Christmas and New Year. This is kind of cool .... takes a while to load but it's so clever. All I put in was my post code and, although no snow here at the moment, the vista was spot on for the terrain. www.pusher.com.au/clients/pusher-christmas-2011 It uses Google Maps Street View for the scene, so it should get pretty close to were you live. I put in my address from were I grew up, the whole area was leveled years ago and that is what came up. Pretty depressing for a Christmas card. Cute from around the world: www.zooborns.com/zooborns/

Barbieq25, I'm glad you liked. I just spent the last few days reading through this thread. It's really hard not to click on other things after reading or watching what was posted here. Goonfella, The Saturn image is beautiful and the video made me realize that all those colorful space renditions should be black and white, unless viewing the scene planet-side with an atmosphere. Lots of fun stuff. musichistoryingifs.com/edit: thought this site might be funnier than what I had posted.

On my new Nexus 7 I found an app called TED. It is basically a collection of talks with people on all sorts of subjects. I watched Richard Branson give a fascinating 30 min talk the other day. So I decided to look and see if there was a website so I could watch the talks on my laptop as well and there is - www.ted.com/talks?lang=en&event=&duration=&sort=fascinating&tag=20Try it out and watch a few videos. There is something there for everyone.

Interesting. Hard to pick one to watch, especially when most are longer than my attention span. We were looking through pictures of our dog for a photo album, and found this: This was shortly after we got her, when she was just 8 weeks old. My husband has contacted a breeder about puppies, and there might be some soon. The breeder wants to meet us, and hubby wants to take pictures of Mindi to show her. He wants to impress her, so he says he's going to shave and wear a good shirt, i.e. one without holes and food stains. ;D
