Goon said what I wanted to say about animating these gears. Though the lighting you used and the way they're positioned make them seem as if they're already moving. Nice work.

Nice work again mate. U R Da Man !!
One of my dreams and a few deleted files of failed ones, since starting to use PDN is to make a full blown gear box ( transmission) and you're opening up the way to make it possible
Thanks

@ Barbie, thanks, I know what you mean, and is right, they have a plastic finish rather than metal. Helen and Goonfella, thanks so much, I think it is very difficult to animate a 3D image with highlight/shadow in PDN. I just can't imagine the amount of work. @welshy, So glad I can help, weren't doable before because some plugins weren't exist., thanks mate for the comment, I am still not so satisfied with the method of the spiral gear. Just playing around with perspective plugin:

Nice. All it needs now is a chain and it would be just like a gladiators weapon - a deadly one at that!

Now, where are them fainting smilies?! I'd insert a few in here. But I think these ( ) would be appropriate placeholders. Mastermind work here!

Brand new - I like it like that too. What a fabulous outcome! The chain & the ball are really well done but even the tiles on the floor are something wonderful to behold. MMMMMMM - Yummy!

I'm simply awed by most of your work. Your gallery both intimidates me and inspires all at the same time ... I say most, because there is some that goes beyond awe. The mace concept is hard to grasp as I've played with too many of them. Typically the head is cast all as one piece for instance. This will lead to an irregular surface overall or one pitted from air pockets and molding sands. But we dont live in that century anymore ... Well most of us dont anyways. That spiked ball can also make a morning star. Add a straight handle to it and it can make two different weapons with similar purpose. The original spiked ball also reminded me of an underwater mine. Probably because of the ring shadows around the base of the cones that make the spikes. I know most mines would have simpler plungers, but I keep seeing that thing floating on a chain in your underwater picture. Again, inspiring to see what can be done. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent job on the mace, mate. Nice touch how you've got the links resting on one another by the handle
What's got me drooling is the floor ... pretty darned authentic (shame Rotate/Zoom hasn't got an AA option yet)

Thanks all for the nice comments: @ Goonfella, I really like the idea of adding texture, but wanted to make sure it is never been used , thanks mate for encouraging me to complete it. @ Helen, thank you very much, so glad you like it. @ barbieq25, Thanks so much, the background as I mentioned in the main forum too, is part of this tutorial Part-2, steps 7,8,9, but added some Random Lines layer @ PeterPawn, thanks so much, glad you like it. @ venicet, Thank you very much. @ delpart, thanks for the great study, well if I am not mistaken, I think this shape is never exist, the original weapons with all their styles and uses are totally different than this one, so everything you have mentioned could be correct, I myself never seen a real one, so this is just an imaginary piece and how my brain like it to be, lol. And I think the feeling of being underwater is coming due to using the gradient blur effect on the floor. I have modified it a little bit with some addition to the mace, hope it looks better now: @ Ella, thank you very much. @ Leif, I really worked hard on the shadow, thanks for noticing that. @ WelshBlue, the floor is just 2 layers, have you tried it? And you are right about the Rotate/Zoom effect , and you have asked in the main forum to add AA option to the tool, but looks like it is not doable, appreciate your comment mate, thanks a lot. Funny, how the ideas flow, I was trying to shape a funnel for something else, then the phonograph jumped in to my mind, and I couldn't resist, as long as a have gotten the hardest part of it, I was working on it for almost a week, one hour daily after midnight, lol , it still needs some work and final touch-ups.

I adore the texture & the colours in this. The wood is so real & the shape of the speaker part is wonderful. You've done a great job with it. Totally love it!
