Looking good. Can`t wait to see the final, textured image.

It won't have any texture. This is simply a concept art.

I like the shape & the shading too. I wish you would do more with it. Such a great base.

It looks great. . I love the smooth lines you've got going on. Especially in the head-on view
I wish I had the skill/ patience yourself and Goon' have got in SU. Then your added patience with Kerythea

I have loved this ship since you released it. So much detail. I think you should continue it as well.

I didn't want to hijack Goon's thread, so I added the "Fluer de Lis." As always, it is made in SketchUp and rendered with Kerkythea. I am not entirely happy with the way it turned out, I blame it on the 64-bit that was released, and I'll make a new one that's better and more up to my standard.

Your glass works are always top-notch. You will obviously find something wrong with it each time you review it, but to me, it's flawless. Very impressive!

Nice one Lance, waiting to see the next version, I agree with you, you can do a much better than this, I hope you will figure out how to render a better result, BTY the shape is awesome, did you draw that in SKU or it is a ready template?

Excellent image Lance! I like the more decorative look you have given it. I see you`ve made a glass one instead of metal. Your glasswork is awesome. A few adjustments here and there and this will be up there with the best.

It is a bit more decorative but I like it! Hubby commented on the way past: Ooh! I like that!
Not as glassy as some of your images Lance, to me it is like a frosted look but really nice just the same.

Thanks everyone. I have been trying to change it to a more metallic glassy look, but for some reason it isn't rendering as I used to make it. I know it's because I fell out of habit, so it'll be some time before I finally get it. I suspect there's not enough lighting to make it shine.

@ Goon, there is already a backdrop, it's black. Two lighting were in the scene, a spot light and an area light, and I am still learning how to use Yafray as the render engine. I don't like how Blender can't produce caustics, but Yafray can, and Yafray renders it more photo-realistic than Blender's own engine could. Edit: I went to the video tutorial, and I am quite familiar how to create a background. Remember, I played with SketchUp and Kerkythea a lot, so the technique are similar, but with different method because of this menu I got to click, and this button I have to click. With SketchUp, it was a snap to make the backdrop. If you don't mind, I'd like for you to go to the video and write down the steps because I can't hear him talk (I'm deaf, remember) and what keys he was pressing. I'm interested in how he had the edge extruded and then had the bottom plane more smooth out. This is probably easier for me to model in SketchUp and then imported into Blender. Helen, thanks, and I saw your comment on dA about it. Thanks. Pixey, thanks! blackpenny, much appreciated.
