We have one of these topics at my forums and it's been interesting to know all the kinds of foods some people eat. It get's even more interesting when those participating are from different parts of the globe. Who knows, we may end up learning some new cooking tips and/or new places to go dine. I actually had Sloppy Joe's and Hamburger Helper today for lunch. One of my favorites and easiest to make at home haha.

I ate almost nothing today. Coffee in the morning with two waffles and then I don't remember what I had. It was a busy day, plus it was hot like the desert, so I didn't really want to eat.

3 cups of coffee, some toffee lollies & two golden crumpets with lots of honey. Only luchtime yet so I will probably have some fruit. Last night I made Thai Mussaman Beef with jasmine rice. We eat very multiculturally. Tonight we are having chicken & spinach tortellini with dried tomatoes, bacon, fetta & kalamata olives, topped with Parmesan cheese. Its cold here, so I am hungrier than usual plus not smoking

Nothing at all! - but then it is only 6.40am ;D Brekkie for me most days will be a cup of tea ( the first one of the day is always the best) and a bowl of cereal, usually Sultana Bran or Alpen. Wednesday on my day off I treat myself to a Full English at a local cafe and Sunday I like to have 3 croissants and a cup of coffee. Barbie that sounds just yummy.

Tonight it will be Brown Trout (caught yesterday) stuffed with haggis with a glavia based sauce and lots of fresh veg and a big strawberry cheese cake that screams "mega calories" ;D

I'd like to come over for dessert. It is so good to be able to eat the fish you caught yourself. My step-son caught some when he was here a few days ago.
Not sure what haggis is or the glavia based sauce. Can you explain this please? I am always interested in new foods.

I could go for cheesecake too!
It's been warm here too so I haven't felt much like eating. It's cooler today, and I had a glass of orange juice, a vitamin, a granola bar, and I'm drinking a cup of coffee now.

Oh, all that food sounds so tasty!
I had fried pancakes stuffed with farmer's cheese (which has been sweetened). I drank that with hot black tea creamed with milk. However, I want some meat... *goes and raids refrigerator*

I'd like to come over for dessert. It is so good to be able to eat the fish you caught yourself. My step-son caught some when he was here a few days ago. . Your so right there bbq. Monday we had some mackerel freshly caught by a good mate of mine. Deeelicious. I`ll never forget the time I went on holiday to Cyprus. The food there is brilliant and one evening we decided to go to a restaurant where fish was the speciality. They would bring a plate full of different types of freshly caught fish so you could choose your own, so I chose the Sea Bass. It was so funny because when he was on the plate he seemed to be smiling at me. But when he came back cooked and ready to eat the smile had gone and he looked quite miserable! ;D Didn`t arf taste gorgeous though.

@ Barbieq: Haggis is a Scottish dish made of the heart, liver and lungs of a sheep or lamb, combined with oats, suet and other herbs and spices, and then cooked in a casing traditionally made of the animal's stomach, tastes much better than it sounds and Glayva is a whiskey made with honey and spices, used sparingly it makes a great sauce, used unsparingly it gets the conversation flowing at the dinner table ;D @ Goonfella: Two of my favorite things mentioned Cyprus and Sea Bass

AFG that is so rich, I like everything you've mentioned, but not sure about the lungs. On Wednesdays and Fridays I don't eat meat, so I am cooking now some lentil soup although it is hot here, 94 F

;D
I had lentil soup too. But I put some smoked bacon in mine.
I love fish and lucky enough to have a cousin who keeps me in trout and a brother-in-law who's one of the few remaining with a coracle licence to give us salmon.
Haggis ... I tried that at christmas and got to admit I enjoyed it. But I enjoy lambs liver (pig too bitter for me), kidneys but not too keen on sheep's heart

Goonie, poor fish. I like the story.
AFG, I never knew that. I would taste the haggis, just so I know. I really never eat offal any more but I remember how good it can taste.
Lentil Soup - funny about that because my Mum makes that too & puts in a bacon hock & sometimes some continental frankfurts sliced.

Chicken fajitas tonight. My wife likes spicey things so always adds extra chilli etc to things. Very tasty but the sweat was popping out of my head

I'm afraid I hate fish! Yesterday's menu was, Breakfast: Gluten free toast with marmalade and a cup of tea. Lunch: Ham Panini with tomatoes - and a cup of tea Dinner: Spaghetti Carbonara with tomato Bruschetta and a glass of red vino Mid morning and afternoon: Tea and almond granola bars. (If there had been cheescake - I'd have had some too).

Pumpkin seed bread, last night's Korma curry with Jasmine rice, coffee, sweet bun loaf, coffee, cranberry & almond bar, more coffee...went to work today after 2 weeks off. Resisted the urge for Red Rooster chips with gravy.

Seltzer water is basically soda water, minus the excessive sugar, and I have become addicted to it. Jalepnons on pizza? Whew...
