Hello! I've been working with Paint.Net off and on for a few years now (I have to agree with the poster who said it's the best software ever). After a computer casualty and a couple of years without reliable internet, I've finally been able to install the new version and.... Oh my goodness. I want to learn how to do everything! So, in the process of hunting tutorials I found this site and the old PDNFanatics, joined both (and the official forum), and am planning to tackle every single tutorial I can find. I'm having fun, can you tell? A bit more...I'm a children's librarian-turned-fitness company admin, a passionate crocheter and fiber artist (I actually have several ideas for combining that with my love for Paint.Net with the help of transfer paper), an amateur photographer and gourmet cook, a bird-mom, and an unrepentant geek. I have Asperger's Syndrome and OCD as well, which may explain the rest. Anyway, I just want to say that I really admire all of the work I've seen here and hope to measure up soon! --Alyce (or Egon, I'll answer to either)

Hello, there, Egon. If you have OCD, you'll fit right in, as we are all wacky, weird, and wonderful in our own ways. I'm looking forward to see what you will produce with Paint.NET.

Everyone is calling you Egon, but I love the spelling of your name Alyce, so I'm going to be different. LOL
Welcome to the forum and like everyone else, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with PDN.

Sounds like my kind of place. Like all the newcomers, I can't wait to tackle your glass tutorial (especially since I am trying to create a mirror and windows).

I usually try not to ramble so much; I think I'd had too much coffee. I am on from work right now, but hope to have time to log on at home soon and start posting what I've made.

Hi Egon - Welcome to the forum! Thank you! Ooh, I like that sig; am I correct in guessing that you tilted the text layer to create that angle?

Egon! That is a boys name here. Don't get me confused. ;D Anyway, welcome aboard. Sorry! It's a boy's name here too, but it's my nickname because of the Ghostbusters character. Just call me Alyce; it's my real name anyway. And thanks!

Thanks for the welcome; I see I'm going to have to carve out some computer time at home!

Although it`s a nice thought, there is really no need for a separate post to each person. One post is fine.
