Oftentimes, I draw on a separate layers when outlining characters for my book in PDN. When I'm almost done, I then realize that I've been outlining on my scratch/scanned image instead of a new layer. Is there any way to "cheat" the system by creating a new layer and then redoing the lines without actually having to redo everything? It's been happening more than once lately. I was just wondering.

Is there a chance you could perhaps use the magic want tool to select the outlines, then cut / paste on to a new layer?

You know, lia, I was thinking that, but then I think that they won't have the same look to them. Since it's for a book, the outlines should specifically be the same. I tried it before, too. Now I'm wondering if such features even exist at all.
