Hey guys!
I have been gone from the forums a while, but in that time frame, I have done many graphics for people as well as myself to use. In this post, I will show you some of my favourites. All of the images (except for the Autumn and Musigator logos and the Sherlock Text Minimalist wallpaper, which were made in Paint.NET) were made in Gimp.
I would like to encourage you to click the "View all of the info at DeviantART" links so you can see all of the info (including resources used) for that image.
Let me know what you think, as all feedback is greatly appreciated and will help me with my future work.
You can see more of my work at my DeviantART page.
Logos
Titanium# Logo - New!
This one is kind of hard to explain. I was asked to do an icon for the text editor a programming friend of mine is doing (named Titanium#). I got the inspiration from the wallpaper I am currently using (you can get it here) to make a design that looked like spikes (I got this idea from the sharp sign in the name). This is the end result.
Autumn Logo
This logo was designed for a friend of mine to use with the music player he is developing.
AVA Installer Logo
This logo was designed for a friend of mine for the installer creator he was making a while back. I am not sure if he is still developing it or not, since I have heard no updates on it's progress.
Chrisco Designs Logo
This was made by drawing random circles (thanks to Cameron for the idea). As I was randomly drawing, it started to look like a cloud. And then it hit me, I should make the logo a cloud. Clouds are simple in shape, yet they are complex in detail. This is exactly what Chrisco Designs aims to do (complex simplicity).
Firebrowser Logo
This logo was designed for a friend of mine to use with his browser he is (or was) developing. I have not heard from him in ages, nor heard any updates on the browser development, so I could not tell you if he is still doing it or not.
Musigator Logo
This logo was designed for a friend of mine for the browser he is developing.
Omega Browser Logo
This logo was designed for a friend of mine for the browser he is developing. The texture used for the omega symbol was the Blue Squares texture from Gimp.
SparrowScope Logo
I did this a while back for my web browser I develop.
Banners
Develop.NET Banner
This was made for a friend of mine to use for the code editor he is helping to develop. It will unfortunately (or that is what has currently been decided) not be used, since he already had a banner (I made this one for fun with the gear I made).
Wallpapers
Kracko Wallpaper - New!
So, Kracko is one of the bosses in the Kirby series. I would say he is my favourite boss next to Meta Knight (which I will probably do one of these wallpapers for as well). I do not know why, but he has been one of my favourite bosses every since I started playing the Kirby games.
Sherlock Text Minimalist Wallpaper - New!
Okay, so recently, I wanted to clean up my desktop. One part of that was getting a minimalist wallpaper. There were a couple of sites that had great minimalist wallpapers. One, which was called MinimalWall, had these awesome wallpapers that had nothing but text on them. They were simple, yet effective. So, they were the inspiration for this wallpaper. And then, of course, I love Sherlock Holmes. xD
Kirby Wallpaper
Well, I have recently become a big fan of the Kirby games. They are so fun! Anyways, I have been wanting to start drawing things from scratch for logos and such instead of using stock images. I have so far made a gear for a logo (I will upload the logo once it is finished), and now this wallpaper. Kirby is a simple character in design, but he looks more complex than he actually is. So, I decided to make this wallpaper out of his facial details. Everything was made in Gimp, based off of this image of Kirby.
Pacman Wallpaper
Well, I have always been a fan of Pacman, but after playing Pacman for a few days now in my free time, I was inspired to make this. It looks awfully nice on my desktop so I thought I would share it with you guys.
Chrisco Designs Wallpaper
This wallpaper was made for fun. I am really proud of it and would love to hear your thoughts on it.
This wallpaper does, however, debut the brand new Chrisco Designs logo to the public. It was made by drawing random circles (thanks to Cameron for the idea). As I was randomly drawing, it started to look like a cloud. And then it hit me, I should make the logo a cloud. Clouds are simple in shape, yet they are complex in detail. I will post more of my work soon. Thanks for looking!
