Very interesting, Goonie. I've learned some of that in colour theory, my favourite part was colour schemes. I still haven't got the hang of value, maybe if I watch the video a couple more times. Or couple hundred. With paint there's the added challenge of warm and cool palettes, which ends up making mud if you mix the wrong ones together. Very helpful. Thanks for sharing.

I never really learned about colors. For the most part, I just go with what looks right and colors don't clash.

I`m like you Helen. I tend to go with what I feel is right and it usually works out OK. But videos like this are always interesting.

The video explains why what you feel is right, is right.

Here's an excellent web site to help you utilize color wheel using different style - complimentary, mono, triadic, etc. It has been age since I have been there, but one thing I remember from a conversation (rewinding....fail...) with David.Atwell at the main board about how to import the color values, and he told me to enter the hex number in a text file (via Notepad) one line at a time, and then import to PDN palette.

That's a great idea Trev. It would make things so much easier. Don't know why I never thought of that before.
