You know what is so interesting about this sig tutorials? The idea and technique can be used for other kind of images, not just sigs.

Absolutely. I'm already using some of these techniques in other areas. That's the beauty of the Tutorial section.

Hello chrisco97, I would really like to try this tut, but whenever I click the links in your tut to obtain the CustomBrushesMini and the Gradient Mapping plugins, I get a blank page. Does this happen to everyone or are the links broken? Any help with this would be appreciated.
EDIT: I just noticed that this also happens with the link where you say:
EDIT 2: Ok, never mind about the above plugins, I found them and added them.
I have another question though. I went ahead and downloaded the ABRViewer.NET and followed the steps to get the brush set of my choice. I went through steps 1, 2 and 3, but when I got to step 4 to "Save them in Documents/Paint.NET User Files/Custom Brushes, I noticed that the Paint.Net User Files folder doesn't have a 'Custom Brushes' folder. What can I do now? Do I create it or something? Thanks ahead of time.

Oh damn...for some reason I closed My Documents and reopened it and there it was, the Custom Brushes folder. Wonder why it wasn't there when I first opened it?...Weird. I'm gonna follow the rest of the tut tomorrow. Thanks for your reply though Sargon III, much appreciated.

Can someone help me find the correct download link for the ABRViewer.NET file for the extra brushes? I click the link provided in the OP's tutorial, but when I click it, it takes me to the ABRViewer.NET download page and then clicking the download button take me to yet another page with several ABRViewer.NET links. So I click the most recently modified one and that links takes me to another page and so on and so on. I didn't have issues with it the first time I downloaded it, but I lost my Hard Drive and can't currently retrieve my old files and want to download this again. Does anyone know where/how I can easily download the actual ABRViewer.NET file needed for this tut without having to click several links to get to it? Thanks ahead of time.

I like the use of a smudged render - keeps the layers in a close color family. Heat stroke -Oops, Exiting exciting. My first character sig. Another oops. Not so exiting exciting. Now that it's posted I think the final shading is to dark. I had a few hiccups following this tut, but got it worked out OK. Thanks for the tut.

Thank you Barbieq I learned a few new techniques from this easy tutorial, but I'll have to make another sig to fully understand what I was doing.
