Something new on page 1. A photo combination / manipulation this time. Cut the statue out of a photo and put some new background on it.

Great job of cutting out. I love the way you did the stars! Not overly keen on the coloured stars on the green bit as some of the red ones look a bit like holes? I like the combination of colours you used for the background. A wonderful concept too!

The cutting out is so perfect. No jaggies, nothing. Very good composition.

@ Barbiq. You are probably right about the stars. I have experimented a bit, and put a little fog in instead. Just to have some random pattern in the grass. @ Helen. The cutting out was done in a picture much bigger then this. Time consuming, but it made it possible to go in to details. Glad you like it.
I am going to look a bit more on it, and then post it on DA, maybe together with an unedited picture for comparison.

Wow! Nice work. I really like the colours. I'm glad you explain the mythology on DA, so I didn't have to look it up myself. I can spend hours reading about mythology.

Always such a pleasure to look at your work Leif. An interesting study of Gefion and the photo manipulation looks perfect. Also, looking at the face of Homer (the young ones) the look of 'lust' on his face is very apparent ..... a wonderful rendition

Photomanip's are such a difficult thing to do, i have recently had the chance to learn some of the basics from some real experts in the field and the work they produce is incredible, i think you have done a good job with this one

Thank you for your comments barbieq25, Beyond Redemption, blackpenny, Pixey and afg. It was kind of an experiment. But sometimes that is what it is all about. I am glad it was so well received.

Heh, finally an update in page 1. Marge as Hair Walker. The pose is from an advertise for some comic net store. I made a rough line trace of the pix and changed in to Marge Simpson. Her outfit is found in the "Simpsons Super Spectacular # 3" comic magazine where she wears it in two drawings. From there on it was just use your imagination.

He, he. I think i have seen The Simpsons for so loong that i kind of got bored with the usual characters. So i like to put them in to new situations. EDIT: And since i have seen people around here liking to see WIP's. This has been serving me as a workbench for some experimenting for a while. Today i decided to do the long work of making it into something full blooded. It will probably still be used to make some experimenting. I still have a few things i want to see how works. But until then.

Nice job on Marge ... I really like her tights The WIP is looking good. Love how realistic her hand looks and the way the creases in the clothes you paint are so well accentuated. Definitely worth you doing more on it ...

Marge and the WIP are amazing! I like how your characters seem so natural--they don't look uptight or forced, you know what I mean? Nice work with the shading and line work. I love the colors you used. They stand out from the background very well.
