The Sci Fi Spider is amazing, I like the Depth/Perspective of the image, the design of the floor and the reflection are greatly enhancing the effect, the highlights on the legs gave them a nice tube effect , very good, I like it

Great concept and as usual brilliantly made
... not wishing to be a party pooper but shouldn't it be the spidders belly that's reflected ?

Thanks, chrisco and Lance. @barbie: I'm glad you like it. For the body portion of the spider, I didn't want too much of a sphere. I was going more for a half sphere look. @manc: Glad you enjoying viewing my gallery. Thank you. @sargon: Thank you. The perspective was a little change for me, but fun. TheBad1 and Heat Stroke: Well, the whole body reflects on the floor if that's what you meant and so does the belly. Thank you both!

Lovely almost abstract spider. I really like the colors and the "light" at the end of the legs.

I echo all the others when they say what a JOY it is to have looked through your Gallery once again. Your work is simply awe-inspiring and a lot of your work has given me the motivation to try to emulate. As for Sci-fi spider .......... I love it!

@br: Thanks a million, sweetie. Leif: You like that touch? That's good because I thought it would be a neat idea. Thank you. Pixey: Thank you for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed viewing my gallery again. Ella: The web idea came after I was done because it looked kind of bare. Glad you liked it. AFG: Great to see you here, afg! I appreciate your compliment.

I just love the Simple Elegance. Lovely shapes & colours. The reflection & gloss is great. I like the little bit of a pattern in the colour part. They remind me of some vases that have like a clear bit in that shape. They are very elegant!

@j.d. melek: "Pretty" is something I consider colorful and glossy. Glad you liked my spider, too. @barbie: Thus, the title. Thanks, barbie. That was nice of you to say that. @br: I'm so happy you loved it! @chrisco: Thanks. As I mentioned, I think that coming up with the title is sometimes a little harder than doing the actual image. Pixey: lol. I think that you already do glossies well enough. No need to wait. Here's the link with the portrait that I posted on DA: HERE

Really, thank you all for your compliments about "Simply Elegant."I love reading your comments.
This next piece was inspired by a Photoshop image (probably most of you saw), but also inspired by Welsh's Trail plugin tutorial.
