Beautiful. I just love the way you`ve managed to get the fairy inside the orb . The lighting is great.

@chrisco: You like the gloss part? That's great. As always, I was thinking of a new pattern to put on the orb. @goon: As I told barbieq, the idea sort of came from the movie, "Tinkerbell." It took about 10 layers to do the lighting, maybe more. Thank you!

Tried to think of another word to describe Dancing Fairy, but the only one that fits with 'magical' is 'beautiful'

I'm really sorry for not posting something new in ages. I appreciate your comments and hugs to you all.
The Inner Glow image was something I've been working on and off for a few days--I hadn't had a clue on what to add, so obviously, I experimented with the glow inside and liked it. The Magical Orbs was actually done a few days ago. Hope you like the latest additions.

As usual another great glossy job on Magical Orbsbut Inner Glow makes even more of an impact the second time of seeing it. I loved it when I saw it on the main board ... and having had more time to appreciate that 'net' material ... yikes that's really, really god

Love all the colour going on in Magical Orbs, Inner Glow totally captures me, it gives me such a feeling of peace, I can imagine the process of finding the right colour, the too bright, too fiery, or too dull process. Wonderful work

The latest works are amazing. I love how the "Inner Glow" looks like a jellyfish from the deep sea, when it's turned upside down, that is. Second, I like the glossy work you have done, and I think we all miss seeing the glossy work you do.

omg Helen. Your glossies are jaw droppingly good! I don't know how I missed your gallery. I guess it was too far down the list and time got away on me so I didn't get to it. I'm so glad I got here I won't comment on all of you work as everything here is new to me LOL *errr, double posting meaning posts on the same topic? I look at everyone's stuff and comment all at the same time.* I guess I better go look at the rules to be sure I'm not breaking any.
Stillwater is awesome. I could never paint like that in a million years. wow.... I could so see this hanging on the wall in my living room.
Ribbon Balls is sooo pretty. Reminds me of the clear christmas ornaments you can buy and fill with your own things like ribbon and paint. Also brings me back to my childhood days of sitting in the backyard blowing bubbles just to watch them float.
heartbox is also a fav of mine. I love all things heart shaped and shiny things. I hope one day I can do glossies half as well as you do. You make it look so simple and I know it isn't! I've tried it LOL
hummingbird glossy is out of this world. reminds me of the crystal art *swarovski* only much more vibrant .
Baby and Spring Gift... another wow. You are so talented! So much expression in the baby's eyes and the kitten is so realistic. They can get comfy anywhere LOL
Firey is beautiful too. I can't say why but I love it. Purple, sparkly, ahhh, okay I can say why LOL
Fairy looks so real and fragile. I almost want to reach out and touch it but the glass would get all smudged. LOL

Oops!I seem to have missed commenting on Inner Glow. Sorry Helen. I think this is so beautiful. I love the delicate filaments making up the main body of the image. I think that makes all the difference. Really brings it to life. Good choice of colours too. Nice one.

@sargon: Thank you. So glad you liked both of them. "Inner Glow" wasn't that difficult to do except the part to make it look like a fractal. Pixey: I always smile at your comments. You remind me of me sometimes. Thanks, Pixey. Dug: "Delicacy" I love that word. Thank you. That was nice of you to say that. @welsh: I used Zoom Blur to get the fractal-like material. So happy you liked both images and your constant support. AFG: Ditto. That's exactly what I was trying to figure out for this piece. Since I use other art programs and they have a glow feature that I can just choose, so I studied that carefully. @an evil guy: Awww... that's so sweet of you to say that! @bp: Thank you. That was inspiring. @heat stroke: I'm glad you're enjoying my work. I have some time here and there. @lance: I never thought of that. It does resemble a jellyfish. Thank you, Lance. @barbieq: Thank you, barbie. You used the words, "magical," "colorful," "glossy," and "pretties," which are so nice and inspiring. venicet: I hope you'll like my next piece because it's a heart. Your thorough description of my work and kind words makes me glad you joined this board. Believe me, I read your comments over and over. @goon: No need to be sorry. I truly admire your comments always.

Yaaah! Helen's had some free time ;D You know for the first time I have looked at your work not only from the aesthetic view but also from the more technical view point and through doing that I think I appreciate your work even more now. The warm saturated colours to the front fading to the cooler less so at the back, the subtle differences in the reflections from top to bottom and left to right to show the effect of light and shadow, even the perspective of the fairy dust is not all it seems until you really look, and I am starting to ramble on too much now....another magical glossie Helen
