To expand on Sargon's explaination, the X controls the length along the horizontal axis, the Y controls the length along the vertical axis, and finally Z controls the amount of depth. That's how you create a good 3D image.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you Sargon III for taking the time to respond. I should have been able to figure that out. Anyway, I was able to reproduce close approximations of the images in your tute. I included one in a picture I made with heat stroke's tute. (It's in the center.)

@ blanco111, you are there, in step 3, you just need to rotate the yellow, cyan, red Cube of the 3D Object plugin, that on the top/left, check this video for more details:

It took me a little bit to figure out what was meant by rotating the cube but once I figured that out I managed to come up with these. I used color flip/rotate to change the color of my results. Thanks for the tutorial. I learned about a new plug-in in the process.
