sooooooooo much to view in your gallery Goonie...dont know where to start.. "paperweight" is very smooth..very soft colouring..very tactile..would love to pick it up .. "alien 2" and "alien armada" are great .. the depth kind of draws you towards them.. the "miscellaneous" section has some fab. pieces.."VoyagerReflections" is flawless... To me though..(not that it counts for much.. )..but "One Line"..omg...it's amazing.. I want it..I want it now!!!... regards j.d.

Thanks JD . As you might have gathered from the title One Line started of as literally that - one line. I just used the effects (don`t ask what ones, it was ages ago!) to get the final image. Glad you liked the gallery.

Eching the rave review of Paperweight I hope you've still got the file, I think you could do loads more to this. Or maybe I should say ... it's got the potential to be used in so many different ways.
I could see it as some sort of electron ball with some of Cookies Lightning plug-in chucked in

Thanks Patty. Welshy I do still have the file. I was going to just get rid of it now I`m finished but you made me think again. I might do as you suggest and see what else I can do with it. Electron Ball sounds like a great place to start.

Thanks Patty. I downloaded Sculptris about a half hour ago . Here is a little funny first image made more with luck than judgement! I call him FaceAche . Just added the eyes and mouth quickly in PDN. And no it`s NOT a self portrait!

Thanks Manc. Barbie , using Sculptris is like moulding a lump of plasticine . Fairly easy to use as well which is nice.

I tried Chaoscope, Apophysis, & Mandelbulb. Minor success with Chaoscope & wonderful success at manipulating Patty's Mandelbulb.
I'll see how I go I might give it a go. Patty'd be good at it I'm sure...
Plasticine, now that takes me back!

And no it`s NOT a self portrait! OOOOKK. Are you heading for a carer as a piggy bank designer. ;D I tried Chaoscope, Apophysis, & Mandelbulb. I had my fun with Caoscope and later Apophysis. I prefer the later. It can be very addictive and time consuming. But you can make some beautiful pictures. Only reason i don't do fractals these days, is that i don't have the time.

Thanks for all the comments everyone . Barbie the eyes were easy to do but the ears were a fluke. I was playing around with one of the tools and pulled outwards and bingo! A pair of funny ears. I`m sure you`d enjoy Sculptris. Leif , it would make a great Piggy Bank wouldn`t it. The slit eyes could be for the coins and the smile could light up when you put one in.

Just posted my latest. I`ve called it Ferengi Gold because I think it looks just like one of the characters in Star Trek. The bust was shaped using Sculptris and the reflective effect added before importing into PDN to add the gold colour , reflection and background.

An absolute wonder. Lovely result using this program. The gold looks so real and of course, love the reflection.

Ferengi gold is great - I love it! I like the other sculpture too.
Scuptris looks like an interesting program. If it's like Plasticine I can have a lot of fun with it. That was my favourite toy when I was a kid and I never really grew out of it, I moved on to polymer clay like Sculpey. ;D

Thank you very much ladies. The compliments are most welcome . ;D Blackpenny it funny you should mention about polymer clay. I was watching a video on You Tube only last night of someone modelling with it. Very skillful job and a lot of patience needed for sure.
