Hi Sidneys1, while I was checking the history of NORTON on my PC, I found this file listed in the detected threats, and it says "Detected by SONAR" I don't know actually what SONAR is yet, and didn't google it yet. I am not so worried about it, but I am sure some people if they see that in their anti-virus list will make a big deal about it. Just to let you know mate, and thanks. click

That is really strange, Sargon... Is that the installer that it's quarrantining? If so it may be because the installer copies shortcuts to the desktop and start menu..

Looks like the installer to me. I remove the installer once I install a program.

*Sigh* v2 has been seriously delayed. I've got a lot of other projects and the next section - writing the actual processing code - is going to take a long long time... So until I have more spare time, this project is on hold..

Same with me on Voyage...having many problems. I am going to have to put it on hold for now...it is just pushing me to the limit emotionally.

Well, I bought Windows 7 and it's inspired me to do at least a little work on the Batch Image Processor v2. What I've done is added a preset system, so you can quickly and easily load a preset for a specific set of transformations to apply to the images. What's more, you can also save any configuration of options as a preset! I'm also planning on integrating this with the Windows 7 jump lists, so you'll be able to launch a specific preset directly from the start menu or task bar. Hopefully I'll continue to have time to work on this.. All of my school finals are this week, so I should be able to work full speed next week. Wish me luck! Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

Well, I followed through with my promise, and I've added fully-functioning presets to v2! As well as a jump list! Now you can launch a preset directly from the start menu or taskbar. If the Batch Image Processor is already running, it will still load the selected preset, and when you add presets they will immediately be added the the jump list. Pretty nifty, huh? Next I'm going to let it indicate it's rendering progress through the taskbar, much like Paint.NET itself does when rendering long effects on Windows 7. Then it's off to making it actually render haha Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

Ah, well apparently adding a taskbar progress indicator was easier than I supposed: Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

You have been a busy boy, huh?
This program looks interesting.
1 question - what is the requirement to run the program?

You have been a busy boy, huh? Yes, I guess I have In the last few hours alone I've written the resizing, cropping, and about half of the rotation code. I'm done for the night though.. 1 question - what is the requirement to run the program? As for requirements, things are looking like this at the moment (this is just an educated guess though): - .NET 4.0 Client Profile (Most modern computers should already have it, and if not it's a moderately small download)
- Windows XP/Vista/7 (Not sure about XP though)
- At least a 1024x768 screen resolution.

*Yawn* well it's almost midnight here, but I pretty much finished Batch Image Processor v2 haha Just a few little quirks to work out here and there, then a nice little installer to make, then maybe some of you folks could help me do some stress testing on it before I release it to the public (It's already processed almost 800MB of photos, just while I've been working on it today) Also, while I'm on the task, I guess I'll take suggestions for this Any particular thing you want it to be able to do to your photos? It already handles: Resizing, Cropping, Rotation, and Watermarking. (As well as organizing things into subfolders and allowing you to give files custom names) I'm planning on adding access to EXIF data at some point.. As soon as I figure out how Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

Any way you can build in something like Levels?

I may be able to add something like color adjustments, though not at the exact moment. Great idea I'll be working on this some more after school today, trying to finish up the last few things it needs before I let a beta loose. Have a nice day, ~Sidneys1

I've been looking into a curves adjustment, and it looks like it is a definite possibility. I may add it in before I release a beta. I should crack open Paint.NET source code sometime and see if I can't borrow it's spline algorithm though, the one I'm using is pretty different...
