I find it hard to believe you haven't seen any sci-fi films. He looks like Picard/Locutus. Nice work!

YES! BP, Picard...that is what I was thinking but couldn't remember his name...pretty bad since I thought he was so very cool. I saw an episode where he had hardly any clobber on - I'd watch that one again!
Oh Welshy! This is going to be fantastic! It looks so fabulous already. I am enjoying your foray into Sculptris immensely!

I must say this, you truly have made Sculpting very easy to do. Man, the combination of PDN and Sculptris is a frightening good one.

I find it hard to believe you haven't seen any sci-fi films. He looks like Picard/Locutus. Nice work! I watched Lost In Space when I was a kid ... and seen dribs and drabs of The Terminator films. Must be my lack of imagination @ Lance, thanks mate. Sculptris & PDN could be what I needed when I was getting a lil' bored. I reckon you could make an awesome troll with it @ Sargon, Goon', BarbieQ', Chrisco, Heat and Pixey ... many thanks. I'm feeling my way a lil' bit with this. New version on page one. The new abstract in my main gallery was made to replace the eye that's currently in this one

A fantastic job you did the the final version of the Borg. I love the way the metal blends & the eyes are eerie. The metal rings look cool & really add to the feel of the image. Lip on the bottom is a bit thick & the neck a bit skinny at the bottom but then that is being VERY picky.
An amazing image & a fabulous combination of the programs. Well done Welshy!

Fabulous image Welshy. That`s one mean looking Borg you have there! I love the eye. It looks like glass and stares at you from inside the PC. One thing that I would change is the colour of his skin. I would make it much paler and a bit blotchy. When the Borg used to assimilate people their skin went all grey. Great work Welshy , your way ahead of me with this program already!

Not wanting to start a controversy here, but I got to say, Goon, it generally depends on what episode you are talking about. When they first appeared, they were like Casper white and enmeshed with their technology. It wasn't until Star Trek: First Contact when they showed how the assimilating looked. I missed the episode when Picard was captured by the Borg and transformed into Locust.

No controversy mate , I havn`t seen every episode so you are probably right.
It`s Locutus though - not Locust! ;D

Both Borgs are rocking it. I can't digest the fact that it was done digitally in such a short time. Wow!

Many thanks to everyone ... I'll keep out of the borg colouring debate A play around piece with Sculptris. I take no credit for the dog, that's a free incendia model

Looks like one of the hounds of Baskerville. Very glassy & jade-like. The base is adorable but the dog is a bit jaggy (ever so slightly) in places. Wasn't expecting an animal from you Well done!
