BP, good on you for writing it down. Be a good idea if I did too but I get too caught up in the process. Experimentation is fabulous!

Thanks afg!
Barbieq, I like to experiment too, and don't like taking time to write things down. I like to kid myself that I'll remember it all, but I don't . And when I do take notes, they make absolutely no sense when I go back to them.
Couple of new additions on page 1...

I love what you did with barbie's tut. The designs are amazing and so colorful! Gosh, I love your color choices. The other abstract is so cool. Outstanding!

I really like the panels, nice colors and glowing effect and the way the glowing grid feels like being in motion .

The rainbow hexagon and adaption of Barbie's tutorial is well done. I love how bright and cheery the image is. The lace pattern you made is awesome and I think I see a panther in the image.

Thanks everyone! It's a great tutorial (thanks barbieq!) but my first couple were less than spectacular. It was hard finding an image and background that worked together. Then I took some images from my BlendModes Plus experiments. It's also the same as "Sparkles", but with different colours. The animal was a surprise. I couldn't do that again if I tried. And I'm starting to think of it as "him". I wouldn't be surprised if he came to life and asked for food.

This is great. Love the colours and the great use of the Hexagonal Grid plug-in. The whole image seems as if it's buzzing with excitement (Be honest ... how weird does that sound ... )

Thanks afg and Welshy! Some of you have mentioned the Hexagonal grid plugin, which has me confused because the only one I remember using it on is this one. On the panels one, I used Sparkles, Star Glow, and Motion sharpen, not necessarily in that order. But I can see the hex grid look. Just don't want anyone thinking I'm better than I really am. I'm feeling totally unmotivated and uninspired right now. Hopefully if I do some of the chores I've been neglecting I'll feel better.

Just don't want anyone thinking I'm better than I really am. I think it proves you're better than you think you are, by creating such an interesting texture

Thanks Welshy and Barbieq! I listen to everyone here, and try to use what is said to improve my work. Lance, I have the shirt, and spilled food on it. This is a little bit inspiring, I spent yesterday morning helping my husband make a map with pdn. He's tracing one he has and adding his own captions, and I showed him how to use layers and text, among other things. Of course I did things on the wrong layer a few times, and spent way more time than I had to on one thing when there was a simple way to do it, but we had a lot of laughs. You sure learn a lot when you teach someone else. ;D

Update on page 1! I had some fun with the Droste effect plugin. Other than that, I haven't felt like doing much of anything. In my next life, I want to be a bear and sleep all winter.

I just love the first one! So delicate & the colours are great. They are all different & pretty but that one really spins my wheels or floats my boat. Good on you!
