Good technique Sarkut, but a bit long.
Most of the time the Droste plugin uses a circle shape selection from the canvas, so why don't you just make that circle ready for Droste?
I see the fastest way with good result is to add new layer and fill it with black, apply Insideout, Radial Blur to 4, use this layer as a mask for your design then play with Droste plugin.
And in some cases a combination of Polar Transformation and Droste gives a very good result.

a good one is inside out plug in done twice gives a real nice not crisp circle so jaggies are not so evident.

ps I've been known to a time or two clone in the edges if its real bad. Severly slows things down but gives nice results.
