"Polluted Migration" Don't get me wrong when i say it looks a little helpless. But that is simply the message i get from that picture. How helpless we are against pollution. I know the story that a shipload of rubber ducks was lost in the ocean, and now they turn up everywhere. I also think some were put to sea on purpose, to see where they drifted to. It all just shows how the world isn't big enough for waste to disappear. In the end it turns up somewhere. Your pix is a great reminder of that. Well done.

Great idea and the way you have put it together fits perfect, it's like a "Well what did you expect ? blue Sky's and calm seas ? it's about pollution and what it's doing", nice one

Are we killing the planet ? Yep we are. A great image with a great message ...
Would love to see a different sky to compliment that great sea you made

Thank you all for the comments on Polluted Migration. As I said on the main forum it is not very artistic or technical but it was done in anger. Not a good emotion for precision. I am really HAPPY at the response it got. Cheers.

Dug, I feel art should evoke some kind of emotion. Often art is created in response to emotion. I know that I do very often.

I apologise for my lateness in commenting on your super Gallery Dug. I was feeling a bit down in the dumps today, but after viewing your work, I was left with a big smile on my face. Your pictures are delightful; so colorful and thoughtful. I particularly like Steampunk Gents, Flotsum and Jetsam, Apple Skin and the ducky-wuckies too ;D

I really like the way you did the old paint. Spot on there. The whole image has quite a whimsical feel to it & I live it. The only C & C is the rivets/bolts on the door are a tad big. Individually there are a real lot of elements that must have taken ages to do. I love the water level Well done!

I really like the lighting effect and the level of detail, I had to look at it a few times to see what was making the light transition so effective and its the two chains hanging from the ceiling
