I'm trying to do "Making a Viking Helmet" tut by WelshBlue at www.pdnfanatics.com. I got stuck early on. Below are a few thumbnail screen shots of what I'm doing. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? This is what I should get: This is before I applied Shape 3d: This is applying Shape 3D to the two merged rectangles: This is applying Shape3D to the stud layer:

See Welshy's started with a square canvas, and all the painting was in the upper half of the canvas, You are almost there Blanco, just expand your canvas from the bottom using Canvas Size: Image > Canvas size, put same amount for the Height and anchor Top, then apply the Shape 3D

Thanks Sargon You beat me to it @ Blanco' ... having the 'work' on the upper half of the canvas is what gives it the shape when you run S3D
