I stayed up until 2 am watching the whole program of "The Beautiful Truth" on Youtube. I couldn't stop watching it. It will totally open your eyes and make you realize just how the Government is secretly, slowly trying to poison us all with all these chemicals they put into our foods. It's sad how the majority of Doctors and Dentist alike know this is going on and know that there are cures for almost all illnesses, diseases and cancers yet refuse to do something about it because there's too much money to be made on our health' expense. Those Doctors that actually do speak out about the hidden dangers unfortunately have their licenses suspended and are ridiculed. It seems that the Medical profession cares more about keeping us all under the power of their medications rather than tell us this "Beautiful Truth" that there are cures out there for our diseases and illnesses that can actually help cure us and prolong our lives. I highly recommend watching "The Beautiful Truth" whether you have an illness or not or know someone who has one. I guarantee you will be amazed at what you will see in this film. Please spread the word about this film. You never know, you may end up saving or even prolonging someone's life....maybe even your own. I've provided the first part of 12 of this series from YouTube below (YouTube has all 12). If you have Netflix, it can also be rented. Hope this film opens your eyes as it has opened mine.

I could write a whole book on what doctors actually do--malpractice. It's so horrible in the hospitals these days. I might write a few true examples later on.
EDIT: I watched the videos and I wasn't angry or mad. I was enraged. And then you go to the hospital and they make this face as if you're the stupid one.

I totally understand how you feel Helen. When I saw the parts in the video where they ask the doctors if there has been any cures with this new diet, they would keep a straight face and say "No". It just pisses me off beyond belief that they all do this worldwide. They know there are alternative cures out there, but they would rather watch us all suffer and die right before their eyes and continue to prescribe us drugs that they know are not going to cure us, but prolong the disease. I don't know how they can call themselves Doctors and look at us all straight in the eye and do this to us. They would rather keep us all locked in this prison of illness and make money off of us than offer us alternative cures. It's beyond comprehension. I give huge kudos for those Doctors that tried to spread the truth and had their licenses taken away from them. Now those are the true Doctors, not all those other monsters that call themselves "Doctors".

Or scare-mongering ? I don't mean to offend anyone here and I'll only speak as I find ... but all the healthcare I've received over the years has always been top-notch. Especially in times of emergency. I haven't watched the video, possibly I will, possibly I won't I'm a firm believer that if you eat your 5 fruit and veg a day, take exercise and have a lttle bit of luck, your chances @ getting through life are that lil' bit better. Que cera, cera etc. I'm seeing my doctor in the morning and going to give him this link to ask his opinion

Welshblue, I guess it all depends where you're living. I, living in the U.S. 20+ years, experienced lots of medical persecution. I say "I," but I mean my whole family. I know that people will say, "Oh, the U.S. is a great country. There is no such thing as persecution, oppression, etc." I love living in the U.S. and that's why we came here, but it isn't all sugar and spice.
There was this doctor who told my brother that MS is something very treatable and he could fully cure my brother in just two sessions. My brother comes to the appointment only to find out his doctor was fired. Ever since then, he hasn't received any medical help. He's getting weaker and weaker and his brain is covered in more than just several brain lesions.
My dad was getting ultrafiltration for his kidneys and there was an elderly patient next to him who was getting dialysis. Since the dialysis takes around four hours, she fell asleep. Her doctor comes in and starts waking her up. I was very scared and my dad looked in horror at the patient. She wasn't waking up. The doctor, however, asked in a sing-song and chirpy voice, "Mrs. X, why aren't you answering? Wake up, Mrs. X." It took him about 7 minutes to wake her up. When she opened her eyes and said very weakly that she fell asleep, you won't believe the face the doctor made. As if all his plans were ruined. He wasn't in such a great mood after that. He helped her get on the hospital bed and they wheeled her away.
My dad was diagnosed with diabetes in 2000 or 2001, not sure. So, he's been in the hospital multiple times. The first time he almost passed away due to ulcers in his stomach (I'm not even mentioning how they got there--very long story and no one will believe it anyhow). A few years later, his diabetes got worse, and an ulcer on his heel appeared.
So, he had to go to the hospital for that and the problem he had with his kidneys. I think he stayed there for three days or so. Few months later, his heel started closing up--not to mention I was the one who had to clean it every single day and do the leg wrappings, as well. Whereas the visiting nurses did nothing of that when they came over. My dad ended up in the hospital again. The vascular doctor was surprised that his heel was doing much better. However, since I didn't wrap my dad's feet or wash them in the hospital and the nurses didn't even hasten to help my dad out, he got an infection in the heel. Oh man. I was so angry that day. All the hard work we did was all to waste. So the vascular doctor came again and took out all the infected tissue and we could even see the heel bone. I almost passed out looking at the heel. So far, the area is covered with normal tissue now, but my dad still has that ulcer and I wash it 1-2 times a day. The doctors still do nothing about it.
When my mom was in depression we brought her to the hospital because she wouldn't eat, drink, or even dress herself. When we brought her there, the nurses and doctors did nothing to help her out. Nothing. They didn't even advise us to go somewhere. Instead they told us to continue doing what we have been all these months. A few nurses even laughed at my mom's situation. My mom weighed around 160 lbs, but after she became sick she was only 90 lbs. You can imagine the transformation she went through.
Like I mentioned before, if I were to write detail by detail what my family and I have been through (medically), I think the book would be quite thick. There's this saying in my language that a person will only understand the hardships if they, themselves, will go through the same situations.
I'm not arguing that doctors know nothing, I think that they do, but I believe they're given orders not to help patients in any way.

I have to agree in part with Welshblue. I have read several books related to health, and there is a lot of controversy over whether it's better to eat organic or it's fine to buy commercialized produce.
For example, one year, my wife and I bought a part of cow to be butchered and meat processed by a family-owned butchery. The difference between store-bought and farm-raised cattle were stark. I prefer the farm-raised cattle over store-bought.
Welshy's right, if we eat vegetables, fruits, and limit our meat intake, and have a healthy and active lifestyle, we should be ok.
My biggest gripe is how fast doctors prescribes antibiotics for a simple sniffle. We have those in milk, meat, and etc. Then the H1N1 virus broke out or the MRSA-strain came to head, every health experts pointed to the overuse of antibiotics as a culprit. I now rarely get antibiotics unless the situations really warrants it. I am very thankful for my health.

I have spent the last 15 minutes writing about the problem with some Docs but I just can`t bring myself to post it. Sorry. Needless to say I am not impressed.
The nurses , on the other hand, do a fantastic job under stressful conditions. I have all the respect in the world for them.

The food we eat is slowly killing us. I know that. The alternative is not to eat at all.
I love to grow my own food as much as possible but what we need to realise is that the world is a closed environment - much like a gigantic terrarium. What happens in one part of if will eventually affect another part. Organic foods are simply those which have less added chemicals. Some organophosphates can stay in the soil for centuries. What about wind-drift? What about what was done before we knew it was so bad?
Sure as death & taxes, our health & food will always be intertwined & subjected to the will of greed.
My medical gripes are eclipsed by the wonderful treatment I got from doctors & nurses during numerous hospital stays/operations to save my life. Most of which would have been unnecessary if only doctors knew back then what they know now. Hindsight 20/20.
In the Aussie front we now see that the Hendra virus (it invariably kills) has spread to the domestic dog species. They want to destroy the animal. I am gobsmacked! This animal could hold the key to why it spread & may even hold the cure since there has been no talk of it showing any symptoms but merely testing positive to antibodies. Antibodies!! Does that not tell the doctors something?!
Hendra virus mostly kills horses & humans & is thought to be spread/carried by fruit bats. Most people want them all shot. They are as common here as sparrows. They are wonderful little creatures. Ok, so they are very messy & do carry a lot of disease (apparently) but we have to ask why these things have come out only in the last few decades. Sounds like the new black plague.
Humans are the greediest of all animals to the detriment of the entire Earth. I hope there are enough left who are not to save us all. I am pleased to see that there are some.

I may have come across as a bit blase' when I commented last night. I never meant to belittle anyone elses bad experiences. My own mother died because her diabetes wasn't diagnosed and after complications died on the operating table. On the other side of the coin tho' I've been hospitalised a few times and received excellent care, as I still do for a few ongoing health problems - which I'll have until I step off this earth. Again, apologies if I came across as insensitive

Personally, I won't deny there has to be a conspiracy being executed by the government and pharmaceutical companies. Nothing drives profit than fear.
John F. Kennedy famously said, "There's nothing to fear except fear itself." How so true that is! And I am not a democrat! Nor am I a Republican either.
One of the most grievous errors in colonizations were driving off the natives off the their land, and in the process, we lost a lot of medical knowledge the natives have learned through trial and errors, and the passing of knowledge.
One things that a lot of people have a tendency to forget that virus is a clever creature. It doesn't die, it survives and adapts. That's the key word - adapt. Virus is similar to human, if one stop to think about it, because a virus follow a similar pattern to human. It finds a good host, multiplies, and then spread until it has consumes its resources and dies. Or it simply goes dormant for the right time to strike again.
When the US dropped the atomic bomb at the end of WWII, it was quickly discovered that certain bacteria and viruses actually survived the intense heat of the hydrogen bomb. That tells me that viruses are a living organism, and I suspect the reason is to keep the "circle of life" in balance.
No, I am not going to go Darwinism and the "survival of the fittest" crap route. Everything on planet earth is co-dependent, and that is by design, I believe, not by accident.
Okay, okay, old man is now rambling...

Everything on planet earth is co-dependent, and that is by design, I believe, not by accident. This is so true. Even the ancient Indians knew this. Modern man just takes takes takes with little thought of the consequences.

Sadly in this world of consumerism and the need for materialistic things this destruction will get greater.
New reports showing mobile phone airwaves and wifi are decimating bee colonies are worrying ... no bees and we lose a lot of foodstuffs ...

I am doing my bit to save the bees. In fact I always try to have a container of water, either a small bird bath or old sink or anything else that holds water that is not too deep for birds to drown in, so that the predatory insects can get a drink close to my plants. Predatory insects need to drink every day.
There has been a lot of marine animals such as turtles & dugongs turning up dead. Scientist suspect that they have died of starvation because the recent cyclones stripped the sea grass beds. So, do they go look or what?! I am not marine biologist by any means but surely emaciation would be a good sign? I'd be looking more closely at the industries around the ports & the sheer amount of rubbish that is floating around our seas. Poor turtles cannot tell the difference between a floating plastic bag & a jellyfish. A gutful of plastic that doesn't pass is the same as gastric banding.
We should do some posters - ban the phone, save bees...I know many people wouldn't give them a second thought except maybe to associate them with honey but the humble bee helps feed us, as Welshy said.
Two nights ago hubby mentioned to me the plans mining companies have to strip mine the ocean floors. Submarines that can go manned (yep!) 5 klm down have already been tested & produced! No wonder we are getting sicker by the day not to mention our state of mental health.

Reading through this again ... Apologies to Chito if I went off on a tangent and hijacked this thread talking about foods ... but got to agree with BarbieQ' - Save The Bees ! That's alright welshblue, if you think about it, it's still on topic since it has to do with eating healthier foods as appose to all the crap we're forced to eat with all the chemicals they add to them. That's what the video I posted is also about.
