Just bought the latest edition of Webuser and there is a double page spread all about PDN`s plug ins. I thought you would be interested . It`s pretty basic stuff that we all know about but the article is mainly aimed at newbies to PDN. But it`s nice to see any article in print. One mistake they made though was to give the location for Drop Shadow as Effects> Stylize>Drop Shadow. I`ve pointed out the mistake on their forums.

Yeah, but mine is under objects and that makes more sense to me ...
Seriously. Stylize is filled with mostly entire layer/image filtering/conversions. You can drop shadow those unless they have some transparency going on etc ... I haven't found a use except once to work with anything other than an "object" that I could align, outline, or drop a shadow under ...
Not arguing with you about. I've obviously mucked something up. Like I also mentioned on the main forum, I'm not even sure I want to "fix" any versioning problem I may have as I like it where it's at right now.
Still nifty and pardon the side track rant about the "current" location of the plugin ...
From having studied the plugin list I dont see two drop shadows ... Just want to make sure though as in the past there have been some odd things like that. And of course, because ya'll keep showing up with stuff like GridGrad that isn't in the list etc.

I was reading the posts on the main forum and I was surprised to find some people with DS under Stylize and others, like you and me Del, with it under Object. I agree with you that it is more appropriate to have it under Object. No idea why some are different to others.
Incidentally the version I have is 3.8.0.0 - the most recent one.

Same here. I've looked to see if there is another Drop Shadow and cannot seem to locate it if there is one.
