(Not PDN, just inspiration maybe ... or a diversion ... or just me venting out a bad day in a positive fashion ...) Well as usual, when people make me question the future of humanity, I go looking for some glimmer of inspiration that makes me not want to encourage the use of thermonuclear weapons ... (Gads that isn't funny to enough people probably ...) Anyways, I usually dive into side commentary of my favorite publication ( Wired Magazine) or similar sorts of things. Catching up on Io9.com I ran into a piece on a Disney artist who did some watercolor and ink/tea on paper stain steampunk princesses that I thought you all might really enjoy: Steampunk PrincessesBlog style site has some weird issues from time to time with the image galleries. Worth seeing them as large as possible though as there is some great detail in them. My favorite is this one: Octopus for a walk ...And for the geeks, some science visualizations from 2011 at wired: Wired.com science visualizationsNothing special really pops out there, but how some of those things came about is rather interesting. Several video's in that mix. The one on Jellyfish I found captivating ...
