Very nice - I like the effect. How do I remove the mature content filter on DA? Do I have to be a member? Yes.

Ooooh - what a very sexy young lady. I see she's a blonde It's very attractively done. The rose too is so pretty and the colour is very luminous. Great work again

He, he. Thank you all for your comments. Glad you like the rose. It is just one of my photo's where i have made tree layers and changed the blend mode. But the real trick is that on the middle layer i have used the metalized plug in.

I really like the effect you have achieved with the rose, I think it could be used as great contrasting background for one of your paintings.

Thanks Lance. Maybe one day I'll get around to joining. All you have to do is use an e-mail address. If you want you can make a new G-mail. But i have newer gotten any spam or other from DA. I don't regard my pictures there more then a little bit mature. Only some nudet. Not really anything people ought to be scared of. But DA is a big international site, and some people in other parts of the world may think deferent. And i have better things to do then have an argument with the mods about that. And if it is that. Any 9 year old kid with the imagination to subtract 10 from there year of birth; can sign up and see it all. So what is it all worth anyway?

I guess they have to make the effort , just to keep the authorities happy. But you are quite right Leif. I think your rose is amazing! Beautiful colours . Nice one.

Yeah, "mature" means different things to different people, and some people are more touchy about it than others. And anyone can lie about their age, but whatever. I'll think about joining, I have a name and gmail just for forums. But then I'd feel pressured to make art, and I'm in a bit of a slump right now. Or it could be just my natural laziness.

I'm not a big fan of the Metallize plug-in. But maybe that's because I can never make anything that looks any good with it ;D
On the mature content on dA ... I've got it enabled and a lot of nudity is very artistic. Some of it borders on the pornographic. Like the one that popped up in my +Watches when my daughter hobbled into the room. She slapped me around the head and shouted "Mummmmmmmmmmmm"
Not such a good moment

Yeah? WIP? I just wont admit that PDN is not a vector program. ;D May never finch this? Or just post it as it is? Wait till another day? Comments please. There is a lot of deferent experiments in this.

Just look at how beautiful Marge is! A lovely image, Leif. I really like her dress & shoes. Everything is just so well done. All flows so nicely.
The WIP is really good too. I was thinking that perhaps the left side needs to be a bit fuller. Her head seems a bit chopped off? Otherwise it is really nice. I like the background too for setting off the face.

Both images are very good. I agree with barbie that the head might need to be a bit bigger. Maybe the hair needs to be fuller?

As always Marge is full of life, I always smile when I look at them.
I really like what you are doing with the portrait WIP , reading what Barbieq and Helen are saying I think the chopped off effect is being caused by the distance between hairline/forehead and the top of the hair being to much ?

Another great pic of Marge! I like the hairstyle and the sparkles in the dress.
Nice portrait too. To me it looks chopped off because there's no neck, like it's a disembodied head floating in space, not that it's good or bad. I like the eyes.

Thank you all for your comments. Yes i have to admit i was to lazy to draw the neck and body. I gees i was to preoccupied with the other experiments i did. Now i look at it i can see that the hair lacks some more details, especially in the left side. The idea was that the left side was to look like it is in the shadow side. I also have to think about the distance from the eyes to the hair line. Maybe i can try to draw some lines in another color. When i look at other peoples vector drawings i see a lot of deferent was to make hair. I think it is a question of what you can do with PDN and me making up my mind about what i really want myself. This is an experiment to figure some of that out.

Beautiful.
I've always been a huge Marilyn fan and have seen some awful images made of her. This isn't one of them.
Is it pervy to marvel at the great job you've done on her chest ?

I like the way you did Marilyn in this one. Very soft & pretty. Such a lovely shade of pink too. They don't make dresses like that anymore.
No, Welshy, it is not pervy, it's artistic appreciation. Previous generations went for a more bullet-like look in busts & the bras of the day reflected this too. So the treatment of her chest in this case, is quite in keeping with the subject matter.
Well done Leif, I love it!
