I really like the contrast of colour with black and white. It's a dramatic look.

Same here - really like the black and white background, it makes the panels work so well, what a great way to interpret the tutorial .

That is a very clever take on Barbie's tutorial. Love the photo stock you chose for this piece.

Afg,Barbie, Blackpenny, Ella, Lance - thanks for all your lovely comments. It seems to be the colours that impress people most. B/W and purple do go well together. New image just posted - Temple of the Gods. Based on a PS tut (surprise surprise!). Statues, Pyramid & sky are stock. This is the tut - psd.tutsplus.com/tutorials/designing-tutorials/ancient-egyptian-tomb/

Amazing! I like the way the pyramid is offset from the centre, so it's not perfectly symmetrical. It makes it more interesting.

Fabulous. I know some are stock, but nevertheless it looks fabulous. Really great work putting it together and making it look like a complete picture.

Thanks. Wasn`t too sure if the perspective was OK so thanks for mentioning that Helen. Blackpenny - I`ve had an image of the Pyramids sitting in my Stocks file for ages so this was the perfect way of making some use of it. Thanks Leif.

Overall a really pleasing image but I think the steps need to go both sides of the wall? Is that a light switch on the right near the statue? Love the way the sun creates the rays. That is a clever touch. Looks pretty darned good!

You`re right about the steps. I messed up a bit and was hoping I would get away with these instead. Nothin gets past you eh Barbie? I`ll have a go a fixing them. Light switch? No - it`s a lens flare! ;D There - adjusted the steps and got rid of the `light switch' .

You have done a great job of using the PS tutorial and then applying what you know with PDN. That's usually a challenge when PDN don't have all the tools that PS has, yet, you somehow pulled it off. Kudos!

Chris , thanks for the `realistic' comment. I like getting things as real as possible . Thanks Barbie. Two words say so much. Pixey - Achface? I assume you mean Ferengi Gold. ;D Heatstroke , I think stocks can actually make an image better if used properly. I don`t think statues made by me would look half as good. Thanks Lance. If you think it`s good then I know it must be!

Pixey - Achface? I assume you mean Ferengi Gold. ;D No, I'd already commented on the Ferengi Gold earlier. I must have been referring to someone else's Acheface image, as I was reading through all the posts, and got confused I'm so sorry and beg much understanding please .
