I like to look at other people's art & eBay art deco items for sale. Also hubby's old art books & signwriting books inspire me.
My problem is lack of time but work is winding down. At least that is the plan.

Thanks for all the support. It`s much appreciated. I`ve tried alsorts of things recently but this afternoon it just came to me - Bird Tables! Weird I know but I was looking at the various designs we have and then thought why not create my own? Now for the first time in ages I couldn`t wait to get home to boot up the laptop so I could get going. Of course the day dragged something rotten. It always does when you are looking forward to something! I`ve got Sketchup as well so I`ll probably have a go at building some there as well as PDN. I downloaded this great roof maker plug in for SU and bird tables would be a great way to get to know it.

Sounds like a plan. This reminds me of something else I would do in a block.get the carpentry tools out and make the bookcase.table.shelves,what ever from my list of woodwork projects.Being an engineer, every thing metal related,I just love making things with wood. Anyway enjoy your bird-table project.

Creative Block sums up the frustration that it brings and the method you used to create it is also one that is used by artists who work in Fantasy art where the put a lot of lines and shapes together and see what comes from it with some amazing results. Journey to the stars is another great space scene mate, nobody does them better

New image posted which I`ve named Chaos . This one has been building up slowly over time gradually having a bit added here, a bit added there until the other day I loaded it up and just thought - I can do something with this! And so you have my latest piece of space art. Hope you like it.

Chaos or not, I'm going there. I'm packing my bags. Water. Check. Food. Check. Extra clothes. Check. Will I be needing anything else?
An extremely amazing spacescape. I love how everything's filled with such gorgeous detail. Wow.

I have never fully understood what it is I love about space scenes so much, there is something fascinating about them.
For me this is an example of what can be produced by an artist who has a true love of the subject. Stunning mate.

Thanks very much. Barbie the font is called Space Age. Ideal for this type of image. afg - with me it`s being able to lose yourself completely and dream of what it must be like to be able to travel to the furthest reaches of the galaxy and beyond. We can`t do it for real but there`s no stopping your imagination. Pixey I`d like to know where this Black Hole is. I must admit it was not intentional. But I`m glad it`s there. Dug , thanks. I was hoping to get that effect.

The sad thing about this image is that the philistines on the main board really don't realise what they're missing out on. I said Sargon's image deserved to be a movie poster and I ditto that here. The vibrancy of his struck me ... with yours it's the sense of eerieness this invokes in me. Something quite sinister lurking in the distance ... Great colours and textures too

I`ve thought about starting up my gallery again actually. But just a few pics, not the large selection I had before. Shame about Cardiff yesterday. A Welsh final would have been nice. Cheers HT - glad you like it.

Another new spacescape (two in a week!). This one is called Awakening as it depicts the sun coming up first thing in the morning. It originally started out as an entry to Possum`s Eclipse comp on the main forum but as the picture progressed it became less and less like an eclipse so I made it into what you see now.
And yes that is the space station from my sig/av . I thought I would follow Welshy`s example and reuse some of my work for this image. The rest is all new though. Hope you like it.
