Sorry for the DP. Old alien...guy... Not much to say except I just learned how to use the brush option and was having fun! I actually used my "black Star" picture as the texture! I have also learned how to make my own "materials" for sculptris with PDN! I didnt use them in this one, but I will start using them as I get better at it. Also: I learned a great technique for making eyes! Just import another sphere and size it down and move it into the eye hole that you can make in the head. I gotta work on eye lids though... And I know that most of the proportions are way off. I unfortunately was not paying close attention to those.

Are you sure that's an old guy? It looks like he's having a break out of sorts! Eeek, better contaminate him, or he'll infect all of us!

Each abstract that you posted has so much depth to it. It's not just 2D, it has volume. Very nice. What you do with Sculptris made me giggle. Awesome texture!

I like the alien fish, it doesn't look like a mean alien. And the Mandelbulb work is amazing.
The old guy looks kind of like an ancient statue that's eroded in a strange way.

I like the old guy & agree with BP! Cna't help but wonder what would happen if you overlaid him with Chad's concrete tute.
Lance has that been ported over here?

This is droolingly amazing All your mandelbulb work is great, but after the one I've just linked to, the sky-scrapers are my next best favourites. Awesomeness. Excellent sculptris work too. I couldn't help noticing both are cropped on the edges ... if you press Alt and right-click on the mouse, you can move them into position

Ha! You might be right Lance! It all starts with him!! Thank Helen! Glad you like them! Thanks Chrisco! Lance wants me to put him out of his misery! Thanks BP! Glad you like them! Eroded in a strange way... I like that version better! Thank you barbieq! I might just try that! I think I will also change the color to an almost black and white... Desaturate it a little at the least. Thanks for the Suggestion too! Thank you Welshblue! Awesomeness sounds great! Cropped? All I did was "save as PNG"... But I do notice the decrease in size. That is weird because I didnt crop them. I will try your suggestion though, that might solve it. Thanks again for all you comments!

Chrisco I think is right. Soften it a tad & boy, does it look real! Add a few leaves & it will look like you found it int he bottom of the garden. Great work!

I must be losing my mind as I was sure I'd commented on this thread. Perhaps I forgot to hit 'post' when I'd finished. Anyhooooo - love your mandlebulb work and I've just downloaded it myself to try, sometime..... I just love the Sculptris dragony/whiskery critter - he's so cute that I'd like to give it a pat on the head

Pixey: I have done that before as well. Thank you! I hope to see some MB3D pieces from you! Feel free to give him a pat, he doesnt bite!

Sorry for the DP. I finally was able to get on the computer that has this file, and so was able to work on it: Moss was made in Photoshop and added in PDN I think there is something wrong with it, but I dont know...
