Glad you guys got it sorted out. I've added the plugins to the mini-tut post. In Equations, if you click the Load button, there are pre-sets that make different shapes. That'll keep you there another couple of hours. Thanks venicet! I did a lot of tuts before I had anything I wanted to show the world, and I go back to them now and then too. That's where I've learned about most of the plugins. I know what you mean about fonts, I downloaded a lot and can spend all day playing with them. I looked for Astro and can't find it, and I know I got it from Dafont. There are a lot of similar ones though. BTW, I'm from Canada too - Calgary.

I lived in Calgary in the late 70's when it was half the size it is now LOL Acadia Drive SW. Walking distance to Chinook mall. I loved it there but have only been back once since I left. I'm off to DaFont for the afternoon. LOL I have a piece I'm working on that's about 20 layers and have to think of some way to pull it all together. Getting away from it for a while might give me inspiration. I find when I'm not working on something is when my brain is actually working on it subconsciously. I get back and suddenly I'll know what to do.... usually.... LOL

Thanks for this. What a clever way of using Equations. It's been on my PC for 3 years but I've never used it before - so looking forward to experimenting The only thing I know about Calgary is that Cool Runnings was set there (and Jamaica) ;D I love that film. I cried the 1st time I saw it - how stupid is that when it's a comedy

I moved here in the early 80s, from Ontario. The city is huge now, almost too big to be comfortable. But almost everything we need is close enough we don't have to leave the quadrant much at all. In a perfect world, I'd be able to walk everywhere. It was neat having the Olympics here. I remember the Jamaican Bobsled Team - they were cool. And Eddie the Eagle, the guy who came dead last in ski jumping. *lol* What a great time. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do with Equations. The first thing I used it for was Oma's tutorial, then nothing until one day I started playing.

wow, bright and cheerful looking! LOL I like those colors too. Did you use Droste for the purple one? Do you have any idea where I can find that plugin?

Oh. Really pretty pictures. The star is my favorite. But they are all good. I also like that bright and colorful look.

Thanks venicet, Leif and Welshy! Droste is a hard plugin to find. I went to www.getpaint.net/search.html (bookmark it, it comes in handy) and found this thread. I've been using the one from the first post, but if you scroll down to post #16 there's a version 003 that I just downloaded and it does even more. The purple one was originally the purple Droste in my gallery, and the circle one was the blue circle. Leif, I was worried the colours were too bright and people might have to wear sunglasses. Welshy, I'm sure there are worse songs to have in your head.

Thanks ever so much blackpenny! I actually have the search site, and tried for ages to find Droste. All I got were pictures made with it. I guess I should have been looking under Escher/Droste. Again, thanks heaps!

I really love the first one & the fourth one is really great too. Not any easy plugin to use but you've done a marvelous job with it.
The first one makes me think of spanish dancers - the things in the ocean, not the people. The 2 colour together are just yummy. I like the way you used the Equations too. You are so good at these abstracts. The last one just makes me happy with those colours.
Well done on the other 2 as well.

Bp, have you thought about posting your images in the plugin thread on the main board. I'm sure that Red Ochre would be stoked & give inspiration to others. The only image I've used it in I cannot post elsewhere since it is a comp entry on the main board. Just a suggestion because I think you've done so very well with the plugin. ummm...llink: forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=22126
