WOW! You are so amazing with the portraits. Really superb work. I think you are the Portrait Queen. I love what you have done with her eyes. Wonderful work with the hair parting too. Must've taken ages for you to do this. Just stunning. Well done!

OMG - I am so, so sorry but it seems I screwed up a thank you post to a bunch of you after the Megan Fox portrait. Sometimes my head is awry and I think when I use the Preview option, I then forget to go and hit the Post Reply. My bad - please forgive me ;D. Anyway: A big thank you to: Helen - thanks so much .... I wonder what she is whispering? Ha, ha - I'll bet it's something sexy. @bp - A million thanks .... funnily enough I really enjoy doing eyes and teeth and would happily do them all on their own Leif - Thank you Sir! That's very kind of you @sargon - Thanks so much .... really appreciate your comments. @bbq - So pleased you like her and yes, I really do like doing portraits now. Funny how we all 'fall' into a preference in doing one thing or another. I also forgot to put Puppy on here and please, to those of you who have commented already on DA, or on the mainboard - you don't have to comment again ...... really

What?! Not comment on such a cute puppy? No way! ;D As always, a pleasure to view your work. The details are amazing and the eyes are SO real. I love the markings on him and the nose is wicked cute and his expression, as well. Can I please bring him home?

Pixey, your mousey is so cute. I know that you had it for a while, but it's adorable and always makes me smile as does ALL your work!

Wow! Activity on here at last. Thank you @bp, Helen, and @gooney. It's been a long time since anyone posted, but I notice this forum still gets quite a lot of guest visitors. Edit: I obviously need to repair my signature. Getting used to this new format is not too exciting. I hate change!

Thought I'd add a couple of works - I know they've been seen by most of you .... so no need to comment again. I'd just like to keep up with everyone on here as it's a shame to let the site die Wisps was my first attempt at Apophysis and Alice's Looking Glass is good old PDN

Multicolored candyfloss! That`s what Wisps reminds me of. All the fun of the Fair. Great work. Alice's Looking Glass is super. Lovely glassy textures and colours. Well made Pixey.

Thanks so much Helen, BP and Gooney for stopping by to comment and your kind words I've been fascinated with trying to make glass in PDN for ages, and here is my first attempt. Oh ...... to be able to pick Ash's brain - his works were tops!

Oh, Pixey, may I please keep this perfume bottle? I'd love to have one just like it. I don't know what's with me and perfumes and sprays. I hate lotions, but I love scented sprays.

Very pretty Pixey! I love the colours and the stopper. Is there a way to make the text curved so it follows the shape of the bottle, so the bottle doesn't look flat? Does that make sense to anyone besides me?

Post by Pixey on Apr 8, 2014 17:31:29 GMT
Yeah - @bp - I did think of that but, after looking at some perfume bottles, the text doesn't always curve. As in this example, which is not made by me.

I like the details in the ribbon. They make it look very real.

Awesome perfume bottle Pixey. The latest one is definitely best and really does look realistic. The lid and ribbon makes all the difference. Well done. Shame we haven`t got smellyvision!
