Wow, I am surprised, your work is very clean and crisp , so far I like them all, but my favorite is the suprise, so colorful, I am just crazy for 3D stuff and this image caught my eyes, really beautiful.

Thanks Sargon. I actually did a lot of reading and researching on the main forum and one of the things that stuck in my mind was to make things BIG so that imperfections are hidden when you shrink the picture down. I'm very much a perfectionist and jaggies drive me nuts. The idea for surprise was taken from a picture I saw and wanted to try replicating. edit.... removed photo in case of copyright infringement.

True Venice...I always work with a bigger canvas. I like your interpretation with the surprise image.

Thanks AFG. I think working with bright colors helps my mood on the days I have no energy. That's why I use so many bright colors. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) ;D

Thanks Welsh and Barbie. I'm a bit nuts about Christmas. LOL I added another Christmas photo manipulation of one of my cats in the tree. ;D

He, he. Cute cats. Interesting idea to make such minimalistic drawings and then changing them into gold lines. Really like it.

Leif, the "drawings" were actually a font/dingbats that I cleaned up some since I wanted them so much bigger than the size they were. So I can't take credit for them. Glad you liked them and the idea I used them for though. Pixey, thanks. I loved doing the cats. They were actually pretty simple once I figured out the backgrounds and framing for them. I think I have the gold technique memorized inside out! LOL blackpenny, thanks. My fave would have to be the one playing with his tail. ;D The one in the tree is my youngest cat Bobbi. (5years old and still a kitten) She is so light and can jump anywhere. We found her in the bushes by a baseball field across the street from the airport. Starving and full of tapeworms. Scrappy little thing too. She is the boss of the two older ones more than double her weight LOL

I had a look at your golden kitties again and they are so cute!
The treasure chest is lovely (I've wanted to make one forever). I think that you're missing a shadow underneath the lid. The shadow should be cast over the gold coins where the lid is.

I live the treasure chest. Look at all those lovely coins & gems. Not too keen on the lid but the rest is really good. I like the way you did the background too.

I love the kitties! Especially the one playing with its tail. *sigh* I wish I wasn't allergic, I'd love to have one. *more sighs* I really like the metal effect. They look engraved.

Thanks Barbie, I'm not too enthused about the lid either but couldn't for the life of me get anything better. Maybe I can tackle it again once I know more.
Moninca, thanks. I love kitties too. I have 3 at home and thankfully it's the one thing I'm not allergic to. go figure. ;D
