Gotta love it when you type nice long comment and then hit accidentally some button and all is gone grrr . Anyway I was saying have to agree with everyone good job on the wooden signature . Also like your WIPs, first one has very vibrant alien looking green color scheme and is my favourite, second one looks like it needs something, not sure what exactly but again lovely pastel colors, also the third one great brownish/gold tones, maybe some shadows etc. added to give it more depth.

Like the look of the WIP's especially the bottom one, once you look past the main volcano ? the landscape opens up behind it

Great WIPs! The last one looks like a volcano, and I love the colours in the green one. The seascape is very peaceful. They'll all be awesome when they're finished.

Wow, so many comments and suggestions! Thanks everyone! Helen, I like the idea of a ship and will definitely try it out, once I finish the water. That is going to take a while though. For the spacescape, I will try to add another planet or maybe a comet or shooting star and see how it looks, excellent suggestions! And I am glad you like the third WIP, I might not scrap it after all… Thanks again! Thank you Sargon! I was a little worried that they were too bright by the horizon; I will definitely dim them down. As for the land, I don’t know what it is either, but it needs something… I am not finished with the water in the seascape, and I still need to tweak the sand a bit more, but I do like the boat idea. I might add some smoke in the 3rd WIP, to make it look more like a volcano. Thanks for everything! Thank you very much Barbieq, your comments are always nice to read! Thank you too Ella! More depth for the 3rd WIP is a good idea, thanks! The second WIP is missing the boat, and waves. Thanks AFG, the background landscape was part of the MB3D render, and I thought it was perfect for a landscape. Unfortunately, it has been a tough picture to work on. Thank you too Blackpenny, much appreciated! and new art!: Version two of the wooden sig, I tried to make it look even more realistic. and an apple made using this tutorial. ~895-graphics on DA used this tutorial and made a great picture, so I gave it a try in PDN. I only used photoshop to warp the apple at the end of the tutorial. I love photoshop's transform tools.

That apple looks so real! Is it Golden Delicious? The sig looks even better now that it's roughed up a bit. Really great texture.

Lovely apple. Goon made an apple a while ago. Both nicely done.
I love the soft shadows and highlights--looks good enough to eat or put in a pie.

Black Star is fascinating. Great use of noise to make the picture look like the "camera" is about to break down. Many effects used here. All with good results.

You have a lot of great stuff in your gallery. The Cardinal SIG and Sci Fi #2 are my favorites.

Thanks Barbieq and Pixey! Your comments mean a lot! Thanks Leif! You wouldn’t believe how many noise layers there were… Thanks for the comment Peter! Im glad you like the Sci fi 2 piece. Its one of my favourites was well! Thank you Chrisco! I have decided not to scrap the 3rd WIP, I originally thought it would be the worst of the 3 and having three WIPs at once is kinda overwhelming. I was going to cut my loss, but now I cant! Thanks for the comment and for stopping by Welshblue! Im glad you like the wood texture, considering the base for it was some steps from your tutorial. I will probably turn the mountain into a volcano with some smoke and maybe even some lava… I don’t know yet. Thank you BlackPenny! I thought the lightning was a nice touch. Thank you all again, much appreciated!

Thanks Manc! I worked hard on that apple! Next step is to take a bite out of it! Glad you like the abstracts too! I look forward to seeing some from you! I will hopefully upload my new image tomorrow or sometime over the weekend... Edit: Here is another 'black star' picture. It was meant to be a wallpaper, but... I forgot to change the size when I started. So it stayed 800x600. I am fairly disappointed at that, but there was nothing I could do about it by the time I realized it. I might add though that it is 100% PDN!
