Nice work!
I like the textures in the abstracts, the photo manips are neat, and the space scapes are beautiful.

Thanks Helen! I'm glad you like the desktop! Thanks Chrisco! Would anyone like a tutorial for the abstracts? I have been trying really hard to come up with a basic set of steps to create a sort of base for some of the abstracts that I make. These steps are almost always the same for most of them. If this would be beneficial to anyone, just say the word. If only a few of you would like it, I will PM it to you.

Your most impressive pieces IMO is Sci-fi #2. I cannot imagine the hours and efforts you put into making the cockpit, the details, and the background. It is truly a mark of what you can do in PDN.

I don't remember seeing that one but whole-heartedly agree! You have a very impressive gallery. One of the great things about starting again on a new forum is the opportunity to see missed works & to re-visit old favourites. Good thing there isn't a hide tag

I wouldn't mind a tutorial on the abstracts. Any new ideas are most welcome.

Thanks Oma! That picture took a long time to finish. Thanks Lance, it means a lot! I actually made that about a year ago. I think I might revisit that again. Thanks Barbieq! I think I had that tucked away in the "older stuff" section. No hide tags does allow you to see more artwork, some you never saw before! I will try to post something later this week, Blackpenny, as College life is very busy. Update:

This is all PDN, right because that's nicely done. The green one sort of reminds me of a lily pad like the top view of it. I just noticed your banner where it says, "Heat Stroke's Gallery." It's fabulous. Love the swooshing look to it.

Too many great things to go into detail ... except to say, I've always been a fan of your work and it's getting better and better.
Love your abstracts
On that wooden ball, if you've still got the PDN file, try setting that white blur layer to overlay, turn the opacity down a bit, then try a much smaller white blur. I think it'll give it a bit more 'life'
... and something I've always meant to say - love your gallery banner

Thanks Helen ! Yup, they are all PDN, and the green one reminds me of a lawnmower in action! Im glad everyone sees something different though, because its abstract! Im glad you like the banner! I got the idea when trying to make a wood texture, and used PI. It looked like a tunnel, so I went with it. The railing and walkway was actually drawn in a straight line along the bottom of the canvas. I then used PI to put them into place. Then I added the shadow and other details... Thanks for stopping by! Thanks Barbieq! I really shouldve named them, but I was too brain dead at the time to be creative in that direction. I am starting to be able to recreate that textury feel, which makes me happy! Thank you too for stopping by! J.D., I seem to recall you had a gallery on the main forum, and it had some amazing abstract art! I look forward to seeing some of it here... The 3D gold abstract was made when I downloaded the diffuse plugin and I was having some fun! And I dont know a lot about sigs too, but Studying Chrisco's tutorials and asking for his help a lot lead to that sig. Thank you very much! That means a lot to me Welshblue! Its kinda funny that everyone likes the abstracts, because with traditional media, I love doing realistic artworks (shadowboxes). Thank you for the tips on the wooden ball, I believe I still have the PDN file... I'll definitely look for it and try out your suggestion as soon as possible. Im glad you like the banner too! Thanks for the comments and for stopping by!
