Soda water for us is just water with bubbles. I like it a lot too. Better than all that sugary stuff.
Chips as in french fries but not as skinny cut. It is interesting that in Australia everyone knew chips as the things you eat with fish. Then we got Smiths & Samboys (crisps). With the advent of MACDonalds et al. we now have fries & crisps.
Other chips you can gamble with or start a wood fire...man language is ever changing.
Eating the spaghetti bolognaise my hubby cooked for dinner.
Welshy, you did well to eat those chillies. I had to laugh just the same. ;D

Two lovely pork chops, roast potatoes and veg, washed down with a glass of medium white wine. Tomorrow it`s going to be Garlic Kievs, peas and chips. Always is on Tuesday.

I've started eating a bit more garlic ... but chicken kiev is one step I'm not sure my taste buds will like. A mixed bean, tinned tomatoes, carrot and pepper soup. I'm on a diet. I've done sod all for the past few months and weighed myself today after a t-shirt felt a bit snug I need to lose 12 Pounds

Welshy, you & me both! I had chicken soup for dinner & for lunch.
Won't mention the sweets at all. Just need to tackle one bad habit at a time. Just wait till I tackle the swearing one...
Briamoth, sounds great! I love butter beans & mashed spuds (potatoes). Kievs sound great too.

New potatoes, runner beans a couple of lamb chops and home-made mint sauce.
Potatoes and mint from my garden, runner beans from a cousins allotment and lamb chops from a local farm. Lack of air miles really does make a nicer meal ...

So far, nothing. The fridge is messed up and the guy's here and it'd be weird to make lunch with him in the middle of the kitchen. Haha.

Do I really have to admit to eating a caramel tart? That & 2 muesli bars, Now on my third coffee for the day.
Briamoth, it would feel odd.
Welshy, fresh ptoatoes! Lucky you. We had little yellow butter beans from the garden last night with our rissoles. Fresh food does make so much difference. Eating the fruits (& veges) of our labour always tastes & feels great. ;D

LOL Smart a$$ I like tomatoes. Will have to try them sometime. But not the ones in the oil I've seen before. They look nasty.

Brekkie - bowl of sultana bran & cup of tea
Lunch - Frankfurters in a couple of slices of bread with a cup of tea.
Evening meal - Steak & fried tomato`s with fried onions and oven chips. Washed down with a glass of white wine.
I know you should really have red wine with meat but it doesn`t agree with me - so white it is.
Evening snack - Another cup of tea (you can tell which side of the pond I live! ;D ) with a bar of choccy or a cake.
Fried toms are lovely with a bit of pepper , but not if they a fried until they are soggy. Just a couple of minutes in the pan is all that`s needed. I used to go to a cafe for breakfast where they fried the toms until they were falling apart. I ate them - but only because I had paid for them!

@goon: All that sounds so delicious. I drink tea every single day and I live in the U.S. It helps digest the food better.
Hmmm...what did I eat today? Well, a Pop-tart and a cup of coffee. That sounds really healthful. Not sure what I'll eat for dinner. I skipped lunch.

Ate nothing yet but then not long up either.
The sundried tomatoes in oil are not too bad. I used to do my own with homegrown herbs & cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. We won't use anything else.
I've lately bought some at the supermarket that are not done in oil & they are quite tasty too. Sundried (bet they are not, I did mine in the dehydrator), are tomatoes, heavily salted & sometimes sprinkled with herbs & partly dried & the flavour is quite intense. Love them.
Ravioli, kalamata olives sliced, Danish fetta because it is creamier, sundried tomatoes & a pasta sauce - a quick easy meal. Sometimes I fry bacon or ham with fresh mushrooms & add that too. Very delicious & filling. Just the shot when you don't feel like cooking after a very long day at work.
I used to drink a lot of tea too. Now its just coffee.

Lance, left over spaghetti is one of my favorite meals! In fact I always make my sauce a day or two early because it tastes better the next day.
Barbie, that sounds awesome. It's been too hot here to even imagine eating something like roast chicken, not to mention how hot it would make the house! LOL A hot meal here this week is grilled cheese with half a cup of hot peppers. That was yesterdays meal and some watermelon. Today I'm still half asleep yet so nothing.
