Excellent images Barbie. Love the colours. The one that really sticks out is WhiterShade. I closed my eyes , cleared my head ( not difficult! ;D ) and when I opened them again the first thing that came into my mind was - foliage. To me it looks like a magnificent surrealistic fastasy forest with the foliage surrounding and growing all around the sphere. I just love the greens and blues you used . They compliment each other perfectly. Well done on all the new ones but especially well done on this one.

Amazing collection barbie, I don't know why I read Whiter Shade as Winter Shade, and stuck to my brain as winter shade, that one I like the most, I feel like I am diving in it. "Dark shadow follow me" I like it too, the cyan with peach/pink on the fish is so nice, and the rough background gives a great contrast with smoothness of the fish, BTW I like the way you've used the Dents.
All others are so nice, Diana has a great design and details.
This was the 3rd time viewing your latest work , but didn't have enough time to put a comment and say thank you for your beautiful pleasing work.

Love ‘Whiter Shade’, it really pulls you in with the flowing shapes and colour, I keep looking into the darker areas to see if there is anything lurking in there, it’s got a wonderful fairy tale/ fantasy feel to it, totally captured me.

Wow! So much to look at, saying they're all great seems kind of lame, but everyone else has said what I'm thinking anyway. Great work!

Another great set added. I always get such a buzz looking at your work. It's like I get what you're saying, but you express it in a totally new light, to what I could. Your style is very positive ... Does that make sense

Dazzling. I think your images are beautiful and quite a few would be very wearable.

Gosh, your comments are all so positive & I do appreciate it.
Welshy, ditto, buddy.
I cannot believe it has been so long since I picked up my mouse & opened PDN...got back into it & here are ones that I had started but not finished. Glad I am back in the groove.
5 new ones are on page 1.
When I try to modify the first page, the cursor jumps all over the place & instead of adding text, it overwrites previous stuff posted. Maybe I have too much in one post?

Oh my Golly - first of all ........... FAB to have you back. You have been missed so much. (also, I think your email is now defunct - as I tried you and it bounced back). Well, you have not lost your touch by one iota! The new pieces are all wonderful and you really have such an eclectic array here Rata us simply adorable .... so cute And Decomposition - is that what ones calls Steam Punk? It's amazing - I love it. Just like Welshy and PP's stuff. Really well done. Also Floral Arrangements are so soft and I love the colours. Well done BBQ and great to see you back As for your 'posting' trouble' ... hopefully it's a transient thing and will go away

Barbie, I'm in LOVE with your latest works! Seriously. How'd you do all that? Never mind my question. Your work is incredible. The ratty is too cute. I'd love one just like it! The textures in the "Decomposition" are unbelievable. Pixey used the words "floral arrangements." I love that. It's worded so much better than I could have said it. Really, barbie, it's a true blessing to have you here. *insert HUGE hugging smiley here*

Great to see new work from you barbie, I know I was missing something, thanks for posting these beautiful pieces of art, each one is talking on itself, Floral Deco, is fantastic, my favorite among them, and I like the gradient transparency to center of Dublodz25 Butterfly Kisses, and the design of the frame itself is awesome. Other are nice too, so glad to see them, I really enjoyed each one them.

Pixey, yes, I guess it would be steampunk. It is actually the parts from hubby's motorbike which is now finished. 16 years in the making with many of the part handmade by him. A melding of a Yamaha TX750 with a Laverda - now dubbed the Laverha. Let me tell you this baby just roars! At some point I will upload a video to Youtube. Helen, you guys just inspire me. I look at your works, each one so different & I try out suggestions & keep in mind comments made so that you all help, whether you realise it or not I was doing some reading & it was something EER said that set me off on the journey to this photomanip of me when I still had long hair. Juxtapose

Barbie, I truly apologize for not commenting. I thought I did (and might've). It's really lovely. It's a fun piece. The colors are so cool and the way your portraits are etched on there is genius. The window-stripes on the top and bottom are a nice touch. I also love that gold lettering. Oh, and the word "juxtapose" is such an amazing word. I never really know how to use it in a sentence, but I know that it means. *whew*

Helen, I'e only ever heard it used in reference to art works. Probably nobody noticed because I posted a couple close together. I used the Colour Aberation on it to get the juxtaposed look.

Yes, I have heard the word used in mostly art, as well. As for your new image. I know what happened. I commented and then as it sometimes happens, it deleted my comment. Sorry anyway. *hugs*

I've messed around with Color Aberation too. Nothing really finished though.

Thank you ladies for your lovely comments. Here is something not related to paint but I finished it today & just had to share. It is crocheted with plastic eyes & nose. On a side note: when I try to add images to the first post, it jumps to another part of the post, so I think I have reached the quota for that post?? Anyone else notice that? This is Cyd my rat girl (after Cyd Charisse). She sits with me as I work on the computer, usually on my shoulder or around my neck & if it is cold down the front of my jumper. I tried to bribe her with strawberries, yoghurt & biscuit dessert but she would not have a bar of it. In the end I got a capture of her in her night cage. I let her downstairs to the big cage while I am at work. I call her "daycare". Sadly today one of the first girls Maggie passed away as I held her. They don't live long but they live well at our house & they give so much love.

OMG - I'm in love with stuffed and live ratties all I guess my kitties would sit up and stare. An idea about your Gallery. Why not start a new thread and call it Gallery #2 and then perhaps you'll have more space

Thanks Pixey! I think I will make a new one & do just that. It will need a link in my sig too so people have the choice of which one to see but the newest work will always go into the new one. I like kitties but we are not allowed inside pets (the rats are never upstairs when the property managers call) & we live too close to a very busy road & I am quite convinced the German Shepherd would eat it. The Golden Retriever would love it to death. Please hug your kitties for me. I am going to make a baby guineahedgepig. I might have to get smaller eyes & noses. OK, going to create an image so I can open Gallery 2

You crocheted that?! Barbie, you're a woman of many talents! I could never wrap my mind around that. It's wicked cute, by the way. I love it! Your girl rat, Cyd is adorable. I'm sorry to hear about Maggie, but I hope you find comfort with Cyd. I still have the mouse as a pet, but she's already almost two years old. They're so cuddly and very smart. I really like these photos.
